Using Facebook Live For Your Home Business
Just read an interesting article about Facebook Live. Anybody heard anything about this?
It seems it came out last year and as I don't do much FB I must have missed their updates.
Anyway it came out about a year ago when Facebook introduced screen sharing. With plugin and an extension in a browser such as Chrome, you can now share what you are doing on the screen you are using.
The plugin started with basic functions but it does provide opportunities for businesses. It means that you can do a live walk through of your website and/or product or service you're promoting.
You can also use it to do tutorials which is great for me because my main income is generated from tutoring and mentoring. This is something I can use to talk to my potential customer/clients or in FB Groups I'm a member of.
I can reply to questions and give examples of the types of things they can do to improve their business.
Live Subscribe Button
If you regularly put up videos on FB Live you can offer people who follow you the chance to use the ‘Live Subscribe’ button. This means that when you are going live with new content from your website people will be notified of it.
Time Your Live Videos
To get the best out of this feature you need to think about when your audience is most likely to be on FB. That can mean it’s better to do your videos in the evening when people aren’t at work or maybe during lunch breaks.
There you go folks another way to maximize your online income. If there's any members who have first hand experience using this new FB feature then by all means leave their tips and advice via a comment below.
Have a great day and be successful.
Hubspot has a great getting started guide for Facebook Live and there's a free download guide as well -
