Make Money Not Working For Google

Hi Folks

Only yesterday someone asked on Live Chat if it was worthwhile getting involved with Google Adsense as an income source. The reply from one person is the reason for this blog.

Today Google AdSense is reckoned by many to be the best program that has helped a large number of site owners become rich and a few, very rich. Google AdSense program help from small website publishers to large publishers to show targeted advertisings and earn per valid click off their visitors. That's cool and easy to earn a living by doing work for Google online.

But some people seem to misunderstand the concept. You do not work for Google. What you do is display Google advertisings on your websites and make money using each valid click thats created from those adverts. A large number of website owners began by working a couple of hours a day. Once they have earned enough income, they quit their daytime job and work regular online. This is how tens of thousands or millions of people are working for a living.

There is absolutely no other internet affiliate program that can equate to Google AdSense. It has turned into one of the main ways to obtain online income from the internet every month. Each individual can make different amount of income. There is absolutely no limit. Some individuals can make from $100 to $10,000 a month. It will depend on how much traffic you have on your websites or blogs.

The way the Google AdSense program does work is that it displays their advertising on your internet sites based on your articles. For instance, if you internet site has a great deal of articles about health insurance, then the advertising will display health related ads. This is one of the better part of Google AdSense program because of matched content ads. While you users select each ad, you get money for each and every click. It is a great way to earn a passive income for many years.

Google AdSense advertising have different kinds of Ads, including banner and text advertisings of different sizes. Each marketer pays off which means you will get ppc in another way too. Speaking generally, the increased traffic you have on your websites or websites means a lot more earnings you can make by doing work for Google online. Each click you receives a commission from 5 cents to $5. This is actually the only range you have to know about.

Google AdSense delivers the targeted banner and text advertising that match with your content. There are a large number of advertisers who advertise for Google. These promoters range between global to small companies. There are also various types of categories such as online games. The list is endless though.

When you display Google Ads on your websites you will optimize your earnings. So, all you have to do is to place the advertising in the right place and make an effort to get the maximum amount of traffic as possible. The traffic you generate online means the more income you earn. Google places cost-per-click and cost per thousands impressions advertisings to allow them to compete against each other.

So if you have some free time every day you should think about this way to earn you some extra, if not a great deal of money. Google AdSense is the ideal solution. You apply, which only takes a few minutes. If you are approved, all you have to do is log into your AdSense account and copy an HTML code and paste it your websites or blogs.

That's all there is to it folks. So if you're a 'Newbie' and would like to give it a go here's the Adsense link - https://www.google.com/adsense/signup

Enjoy your week and leave a comment below if and when you have the time.

ps

The reason for this blog. The one reply that caught my attention was that the person asking shouldn't bother as they would only make peanuts. Not true people - although like everything else in life, you have to work at it.

Thank you for your blog post Robert, they are always good to read! My first website was an AdSense website and it worked quite well, maybe I need to do another Google AdSense site!

All the best to you Robert, Roy.

Hello Roy and thank you for your comment.
It can work well for those who put in the work but it can still give you a passive income for as long as you want it to.
It may not make you filthy rich, but money is money, Right?
Enjoy your Monday.
Robert

Thank you Robert and I agree with what you're saying! All the best to you.

Thank you for your comment Roy.
Onwards and Upwards and be successful with or without Adsense.
Enjoy your Tuesday.
Robert

Thanks Robert,
My ad just went live over the weekend!
I have little to know traffic yet though, so I guess I have to work on that!

Hello Amber and thank you for your comment.
It does take a little time and if you have more than one Ad or text Ad or Banner you will improve the amount of clicks you get.
Traffic is of course the key.
So yes you will have to work on increasing those numbers.
Enjoy your Monday.
Robert

Thank you for sharing this Robert, I have tried before, without thinking about it, before any traffic to my site and google said NO. I will try again in a couple of months cos lets face it, peanuts can add up:-))Steph

Hello Stephanie. Haven't heard from you in a wee while.
Thank you for reading my blog and for your comment.
Yes peanuts do add up - what is it they say about little acorns?
Also wasn't it president Carter who made a fortune from peanuts?
Read Marions comment on this blog coz she's been doing it for quite a while.
Enjoy your Bank Holiday and the sunshine.
Robert

Thank you, Robert, sorry I haven't been around, been working on websites. Yes, Jimmy Carter did make a fortune from peanuts, I will take a look at Marions' comment. I hope you enjoy your Bank Holiday and any sunshine you get too.

Lovely up here in Edinburgh.
Time I was getting out on my bike for a nice long cycle ride before eats (work up an appetite).
Don't know what that will be though.
Probably a burnt offering lol.
Take care.
Robert

Very timely - I was thinking about this today when looking at Google Webmaster tools. I'm willing to bet if you have Google Adsense on your site it may help your rankings?? Just a guess, but Google will surely will do all they can to make money for themselves too, and better stats make it easier to sign up new advertisers to "hire out" the ad space on our sites. What do you think?

Hello Mara. I don't see you reading my blogs very often so thank you for taking the time to read this one.
No it wont do your ranking any harm having Google Ads on your site.
I published a blog last year on having advert space to hire out on your site(s).
Of course it will depend on what your Niche is.
A popular one will attract more Advertisers than say an obscure one.
Do your research first is always my advice.
Enjoy your Monday and the rest of the week.
Robert

Thanks Robert - very sound advice. Hope you have a good rest of the week too, Mara.

No probs Mara.
Onwards and Upwards.
Enjoy your Wednesday.
Robert

I just started learning about Adsense and wondered if it was worth the effort. Great article. I think one question I will have is 'do you choose an ad based on your niche? Totally ignorant here!

Hello Linda and thank you for your comment.
You give Google the URL of your site and google will crawl it and put what it thinks are appropriate Ads on it.
You can however put several Ads on your site such as Block and Banner.
Take it one step at a time and don't get confused.
You have questions you ask Google Support and they will reply.
Enjoy your Monday.
Robert

I had no idea! TY for your reply.

No probs Linda.
You get stuck, you ask.
No point in struggling on by yourself.
There will always be somebody who will have the answer to any question.
Robert

Great post! I enjoyed reading it really )

Hello Again Ali and the second one of my blogs you have commented on.
Hope you went away with a clear idea what you must do with Adsense.
Its pretty easy money - put the code on your site then forget it.
Enjoy your Monday.
Robert

I signed up for ad sense and got an email that I was approved. I haven't taken time to add that to my site yet. Thank you for the reminder!

C'mon Janice, keep your eye on the ball lol
Saying that I haven't bothered with my own Adsense account for ages so don't know how its doing.
Thank you for your comment and enjoy your Monday.
Robert

I've had Google Adsense on my websites for as long as I can remember (maybe 10 years). The thing I like the most is that you can set and forget. The only change I've made in all that time is that now all my ads are "responsive" so they look good on mobile devices.

I really don't care that I'm making peanuts out of the ads because I'm still making some money every month.

Hello Marion. Haven't had you comment on one of my blogs for ages so thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to reply to this one.
You are so right in that once you have those Ads on your site you can forget about them and they will earn you a passive income for years.
Also as you say if you make peanuts and you're happy with that then who's to say you're wasting your time.
There are of course many people who do make a lot of money with Adsense simply because they do nothing else and have a boatload of websites as we say.

Enjoy the rest of your Monday Marion and the rest of the week.
Robert

Another really helpful post Robert. I hope you are out and about and enjoying the (rare!) Bank Holiday sunshine! :)

Hi Jude - what bank holiday? - what sunshine? lol

Actually it looks quite nice outside (just did a washing and hung it up outside and should be dry by the time I get back)

Apart from that - thank you for your comment and hope the membership find it useful as well and especially that member who asked the question yesterday.
Enjoy your Monday Jude.

Thanks for shedding some light on this topic - which so far I have not yet really understood and considered.
If I understand right, we need traffic on our websites. On my pre-WA websites I have 5-15 page loads per day and a huge bounce rate. I guess I first need to spend a lot of time in changing this. Your opinion?

Hello Heidi.
You do mean 5/15 visitors per day?
Having a high bounce rate doesn't have to mean people are clicking away because they haven't found what they were looking for. You should read a blog of mine on this subject here - Of course you have to lots of site visitors to make Adsense worthwhile but this is same for any online marketing campaign. No visitors no sales or commissions.

Apart from that do you think the website(s) you have created within WA are any better than the old ones?

If not what do YOU think you will have to change?

Is it your lack of content perhaps. Is it the relevancy of your Keywords?

Does your online efforts lack direction.

There is always a means to an end Heidi.
Perhaps this is what you lack.
Enjoy your Monday and thank you for your comment.
Robert

Thanks for your long reply. I will check out the post.
I am creating my WA website for about 5-6 weeks. I haven't gone over to check any stats yet, still too much engaged in creating content and learning how to do things.
My intention is to learn how to do things and then bring that knowledge over to the other sites. Partly I am already doing that as regarding plugins etc. Working many hours a day on the computer, things take time........

Yes Heidi it takes time.
But slow and steady wins the race and you will achieve your goal one step at a time and without skipping over anything.
If you do you are sure to make mistakes and if you're new to marketing you may not realize you have made them.
You get stuck, you ask.
Robert

Yes, thank you for your uplifting words! Today I have a success, succeeded to bring my domains from a German server to Bluehost. Now, the rest of the afternoon, I probably -hopefully - will find out how to upload an existing website here to WA with a new url. Begin to learn about FilleZilla..........

You get stuck with transferring your website to WA you must get in touch with Support.
They are usually pretty quick with a reply and will help.
Good you are getting to grips with the everyday tasks one must accomplish.
