Promoting Your Website - What Does It Take
Hi Folks
Do you believe you are doing a great job of promoting your website and the products on it, or do you think you could do better, but don't know how to?
Perhaps you are like so many wealthy affiliate members who read about other members who are doing great. You are all taking the same training so why isn't everyone doing great?
Think about it. If two people with zero experience start a home business how is it that one of them achieves success and the other one doesn't?
You will probably be thinking one of them must have discovered some secret weapon.
I have to tell you there are no secret weapons, and all you really have to have are the four characteristics below that I believe will help anyone improve their promotional efforts.
Organized
Basically, you have a plan to use each week to approach the task of promoting your business.
It can be something as simple as a checklist of tasks and activities for each day of the week.
A simple system that you can use each day that keeps you on track.
Consistent
You have looked at a lot of online promotion methods and chosen the ones you will use. Once you have selected those methods you stick with them. You don't jump around each day or so looking for the "magic bullet" with which to promote. Hard work and consistency are keys in the daily activities of the successful home business owner. There are no magic bullets.
Determined
You are not easily swayed by the latest offer online that lands in your inbox. Although you are open to new changes that can improve your efficiency, you are not distracted to the point you lose momentum in your weekly checklist of activities and tasks.
Helpful
I believe it was Zig Ziglar who said, "You can have anything you want as long as you are willing to help others get what they want". It's a good philosophy we should all adopt.
There you have it folks, and above all else, believe in yourself and what you are promoting. You must believe that the people will benefit from the product or service you are promoting.

Great info and advice, Robert.
I think it's vital that you believe in what you are promoting and that it will benefit other people. This is what I like about affiliate marketing: you choose the products you want to promote so you can make sure you only pick the best. I firmly believe in this approach.

You MUST give them a solution to solve whatever problem they have.
When you do this you will get people coming back to the place where they got that the previous time and of course that was your site.
