Site Checker & Keyword Tool
Hi Folks
Further to my previous blog -- https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/robert-a/blog/hiri...
on seo and hiring a firm to do it for your site, here is a selection of Website SEO Checkers and a keyword Tool you might like to test for your website SEO and Keywords.
I have tried them and they are pretty good but you be the judge.

This one below seems to go off-line for some reason but when its working it is quite good.

Hello Katie this gorgeous morning. The sun is out and so I'm just about to go out as well.
Thank you for your comment and hope at least one of these sites will give you some idea if and where you're going wrong with your own site's SEO.
Have a good one.
Robert
Not a problem pointing people in the direction of something that will help them understand about this oh so important facet of marketing online.
Have a nice day Ralph.

Thank you for your comment Debby.
Hope you get some use out off the keyword tool.
It really does give a lot of choice keywords and you can always test them out using another keyword too such as the free WA one for comparison.
Have a great day.

Hello RaeAnne and stop it or I'll get a big head lol.
Try these out by all means but if you don't like the info you get you can always try another one lol.
There are so many tools you can try and try enough of them and you will get a good enough result.
Fun trying though.
Thank you for your comment and have a nice day.

I have a question for you regarding SEO.... What do you make of Semantic Markup? Is this something I should try to add to my SEO arsenal?
Hello RaeAnne. Semantic markups are not really necessary because they are part of the html coding within your site but you can add them. elsewhere.
For example:
Italics
Emphasis
Enbolding
Highlighting
because it makes it easier for search engines to ascertain the significance of the text.
If you have a good grasp of HTML Coding then by all means go for it but I have to point out that within Wordpress its already taken care of which you would see when you click on TEXT as opposed to VISUAL
Hope this answers your question and have a great day.

No probs Liz. There are so many of these tools on the internet so you could probably take most of them with a pinch of salt but no harm in trying them.
Thank you for your comment and have a great day.
Robert
It was for me about 20 minutes ago Liz.
Perhaps its down for maintenance.
Try again later.
If it still isn't working I will find another in its place.
Robert
Hi Liz. I added a few more checkers to the blog but I just tried that original one and it is working.
Don't understand why its not working for you.
Enjoy your day.
Robert
No probs and as I've said to other members you will probably get a different result depending on what SEO tool you use.
Have a nice day.
Robert
Don't worry about it. a lot of these tools find different things wrong when in actual fact you know they are ok.
Fix what you are comfortable you can do and then leave the rest to google and check your Webmasters.
Have a nice day Liz.

Hi Robert. Many thanks for this info. Regards, Jan
Hello Jan and thank you for your comment.
Hope the sites are of some use to you and you acquire a wee bit more of an understanding of SEO.
Have a great day.

Thank you Robert. At the moment I'm completely bogged down trying to get Google verification. I've contacted support and gone where they suggested, but still, no, Google won't accept me!! Don't know what to do next. Regards, Jan
What do you mean Verification?
Trying to link my website to Google. Followed the training word for word but on Google, verification failed. I sent a screenshot to support but they don't seem able to do anything. I must have done something wrong somewhere. I feel I should delete everything and start again. Jan
Hold on and I will send you a link via PM to a better training than WA's.
