Target Your Audience With Reddit Keywords

I published a blog earlier this week about Wikipedia as a source for a good backlink

One of the people who commented mentioned that they use Reddit a lot and the Sub-Reddits or Forums in particular. I thought I would take a looksee.
I actually found that Reddit is a goldmine for finding keywords that in all probability your target audience are using as search terms. It would be a real shame not to use it and lose out on a lot of visitors and potential customers to your site.
Since the Reddits Forums (sub-reddits) cover just about every topic ever conceived, many in-depth conversations about your particular Niche have likely taken place or are currently being discussed.
These sub-reddits can be a much better keywords resource than even Google’s Keyword Planner (I compared some). This is mainly because the people who use these sub-reddits have been working in a particular industry a long time and of course discussing products and passing around ideas. This is sure to be of a tremendous help to you and of course help you to target your own particular audience more effectively.
Why not go take a looksee. I'm glad I did and will be using it a lot more in the future.

There's also no truth in us being tight-fisted.

Thanks for the tip Robert, I will have to look into the Reddit and see just what it has to offer. Would I have to sign in and register to the site prior to using it?
Yes you really should sign up to it.
It doesn't do any harm to use as many functions and tools as possible.

This is another corner of the internet like Quora or Wikipedia where you can get some interesting results with a little effort...The research tool for Reddit is cool...
Reddit is a finicky place when it comes to doing a lot of promo stuff, though...You have to really be careful how you deploy any marketing content - if it is perceived as spam you will know about it...
The thing about it is that it is a big website by numbers using it and almost anything in the world is discussed there...I like it much better than some of the other forums out there...

I am more of a lurker, I read some threads that I follow, and do have an account...Before I do too much, I want to make sure I do not make mistakes that will hurt me later....It is an excellent source for information you will not find elsewhere....How about you? Cheers! Dave : )
No, I'm a lurker too. I find a lot of using information on the site but was wondering if I should post any content or not. As of now I will hold off and learn as much as can before posting any content. I would love to hear others feedback about posting content on reddit.
Yes I do have some tips on Reddit that I could make a blog post about, but I am like you...Lurking and pulling info and subjects off of it mostly....
The thing is I would like to use it for more than one niche and also I am doing e-commerce with our own products and niche so I have to be careful how I add and where I add...
Lots of hot topics on that forum. though, and the keyword tool gets you to them fast!
