Longtail Keyword Traffic
How To Best Use Longtail Keywords To Generate Traffic
Hi Folks
Once you know your audience longtail keywords have long been the best way to generate tartgeted traffic.
For example, Weight Loss is a good enough keyword but in itself it won’t generate much traffic. It’s way too broad and too competitive. So what do you do?
You do your keyword research, and then use your best keyword phrase as your main longtail.
Then, you start to focus on keyword themes. This is when you come up with an online marketing strategy such as social media and content marketing.
Right away you have got different topics and keywords that target different users. You are targeting those who are interested in social media strategies and those who are looking for content based on content marketing strategies.
When you think in terms of keyword themes, your traffic begins to expand. You employ different keywords and bring in different users.
The thing with long-tail keywords is that they have to look natural in your content. While keywords are important for driving traffic, content that flows naturally should still be your priority.
The key is to optimize your content so that your long-tail keywords don’t act as a distraction to the reader, and so that they act as a signal to Google that your content satisfies a particular query.
To that end, add your main long-tail keyword to your headline. Also add it to your introduction, to at least one subheading, near the end, and perhaps once or twice throughout your content. That's about five times in all and more than sufficient.
Don’t go overboard though. Stuffing your page with keywords will incur a penalty from the search engines. Also whenever you use long-tail keywords in your content, make sure they’re relevant to the page. They must fit the content. If you draw users in with long tails that don’t match up to what’s actually on the page, your bounce rate will go up and your ranking will go down.
Ok folks, now go and try what I have just told you in my blog. I'm sure you will get great results.

Second time in as many weeks you have been first to comment on one of my blogs.
Thank you for that and of course for taking the time to comment.
Longtails have been around a long tine Snazzy and I use them all the time, sometimes I use two with a dash between them and get two for the price of one.
Hope your day is going well.
