Tips For Search Engine Optimisation - Get It Right
Hi Folks
Here's a few tips to help you with your on site SEO.
1. Keywords
Some say they don't play all that an important role anymore to getting indexed and ranked in the search engines. I disagree because using them correctly can add to your sites overall effectiveness. Make sure you use them in the first and last paragraphs of your articles or blogs.
2. Titles
If you really want to attract targeted traffic then you MUST specify your keywords. Also if your keyword is also the name of the product or service you're promoting separate keywords with a 'Pipe' instead of a Dash.
3. Filenames
Are you still using 'same old same oh' names for your filename. Why not use the product or service name and even better if that's your keyword. You can also use the keyword for internal/external linking.
4. ALT Tags
Alt Tags, the one that most people seem to forget. The Alt Tag is a golden opportunity to use your keyword(s). Make use of it all the time.
5. Header Tags
Getting back to your Page Title, there is no point in making the heading text "Welcome to my Website" especially if you are selling/promoting a particular product such as Weight Loss. Use tags to emphasize your Products and Services in order of importance, this lets the Search Engines know the words are an important part of your content.
6. Bold Text
Some marketers would say that Bold text doesn't do you much good with search engines, but if you have something to say, then say it in Bold Text. This will tell the search engines that the text is important and should be taken notice of.
Search Engine Optimisation can be easy enough or hard. Sometimes it can be a complete mystery to newbie marketers, but if you pay attention to these tips you wont go far wrong.

Yes Keyword in your Title.
Keyword in your Headline.
Keyword in your 1st paragraph, somewhere in the middle of your article/blog and again in the last paragraph.
