Is Your Website Secure
Secure Your Website With Https
Hi Folks
Having browsed a few sites this week at members requests I couldn't help but notice that a few are still not using the https for their dot coms.
If your site is hosted with wealthy affiliate then that service is free.
If your site is hosted elsewhere then make sure you get an SSL Certificate asap.
Read this short article Why!
That's all folks, have a great weekend.

No probs Suzi.
Hope you have your security activated and if not see the pics I sent to FrankB44.
Have a great Sunday and the week to come.
Robert
i'm with WA hosting. Is the HTTPs automatic with a WA site? Or do I need to check something in SiteRubix?
Thank you, Robert.
Frank
Thank you for reading my blog Frank.
If you have your own domain hosted with WA then the SSL is free to activate.
Its not available for the SiteRubix free sites.
See pics to activate.
Enjoy your Sunday.

Thank you! Thank you! Robert, I have two sites in their infancy, because I've just reached Course 2, Lesson 5. There is so much more to learn........
Neither of my sites had Site Speed or SSl turned on.
Frank
But they are now?
Onwards and Upwards Frank and enjoy the week round the corner and click the 'Like' when you like a comment.

Hi Karen and thank you for taking the time to read the blog.
Better being safe now than sorry later and its for your visitors peace of mind as well as your own.
Enjoy your Saturday.
Robert
Better safe than sorry Mike and its not just for your own peace of mind, you have to think of your site visitors security as well.
Visitors who see that green padlock will be reassured.
Thank you for reading the blog and if you followed the link you would have seen that Google warned about this four months ago so no excuse really.
Have a great Saturday.

Thanks Robert - this is really a great point
Michelle and how are you today, hope you got all your problems sorted out.
Make sure your site has the security as well.
Now I'm off home for eats.
Take care.

Doing great - yes, I am weeding through the reeds. Keith and I worked through Webmaster tools yesterday and many errors were stemming from my sitemap. I'm not sure why or how that exists. We fixed all the broken links we could find - little like a needle in a haystack at times. Yesterday was very productive. Take care :)
Ok, best to get those little things sorted asap otherwise they grow into bigger problems.
Robert
Yeah I guess so. Thank you!!
