3 Tips To Profit With Clickbank
Hello folks and my blog for the weekend is about the title because as usual lots of new members have asked me what are the best companies to promote for that pay the highest commissions.The majority asked about Clickbank.
All very well, and a good source of income for beginners in internet marketing.But do you know you could have been duped unwittingly by Clickbank? It is not your fault; rather it’s the vendors fault for deliberately deceiving you. But take heart, this is only the minority and most vendors are honest businessmen/women.
Have any of you noticed when you visit most sales pages, they have an “affiliates sign up” or “make money here” link which directs you to their affiliate sign up page?
Imagine this scenario, someone visits the site through your affiliate link, they read the sales copy and is convinced, but they think the price $79 is a little steep. They see the “affiliates sign up” link and clicks. They realize they could get a 60% discount with the commission and so they sign up with Clickbank and buys through their own link.
You’re probably thinking the vendors do not want this to happen right? Wrong! Fact is, they had intended to sell at $31(40%) of the price and so set it at $79. The affiliate link was prominently displayed so visitors could easily see it and sign up and get the discount. This make the buyer thinks they have got into a “winning” situation but in fact the vendor got the sale they wanted and an affiliate at the same time.
Armed with this knowledge you should be able to be more discerning when selecting the products to promote. That said here are some tips you can use to profit from Clickbank.
Tip 1
Criteria for selecting your products. Never select a product that is priced too high, pays out commission below 50% and a sales copy that sucks. Amazingly, there are affiliates still promoting these products!
Tip 2
Make full use of the resources page. They are there for a reason, they must be working otherwise or they would not have been there. That is not to say you can use your own promotional tools, by all means go ahead!
Tip 3
Getting traffic. There are many ways of generating traffic. One of them is by using Google Adwords. It is targeted and fast. You get quick targeted traffic and the thing is, if you do your keyword research well, you can get it cheaply too. remember do not just jump in and start promoting willy nilly - plan your Clickbank Campaigns.

Before I found WA I was looking into Clickbank, being naturally anxious and suspicious though I started to dig deeper into the products I had found that I would have been interested in promoting. Every last one I researched was a scam :(

Lots of money to be made with Clickbank and other affiliate sites but be careful how you go and make sure your links are protected coz they have been known to be hacked and you don't get the commissions.

hey how do you cloak your links????? and do you still get paid if other people just sign up as an afflilate if they go through your link to start with

No you wont get paid if someone else signs up to CB unless you are an Affiliate for CB itself promoting CB.
As an ordinary affiliate you will only get paid if someone actually buys the products you're promoting.
You should also cloak your links using a link shortner such as TinyURL or bit.ly or even your Wordpress Pretty Link function.

Do you mean you are doing just one blog or several?
if you are promoting several CB products then of course every review blog will have to be different.
Have you never tried Ads or banners to cut down on the writing?
I don't do CB just now but when I did I would have one article and several different banners linked to individual products inserted within it.
Most vendors have an affiliate tools page so its not a problem to get the right tool for whatever you are promoting.

thanks,,,, no just one website,,, I remember a training Kyle once made and he said that only sell through a review,,,,, so am thinking if I make a link to anything will make it through a review,,, it just seems like a lot more work...... which means I can't promote a product wihtout me reviewing it,,, does that sound right?
Rosie it does make sense to do individual reveiws for individual products. It is a lot of work but you can't have the same old text with minimum corrections to suit every product. That's why I opted for Ads and banners.
Your best course of action would be to take one product and promote it everywhere you can. Once you have enough Stats to gauge your possible income potential then concentrate on it.
If you think you wont make much money with it then of course change to something else.
It really is a trial and error exercise - test, discard, test, discard until you find the one that will make you money and with such a huge marketplace this can and probably will take a lot of work.

Rosie you get a CB product then go to the Vedors affiliate tools page and choose your advertising whatever suits your site best whether it be Block Ads or Banners or Text Links.
If you are promoting WA then of course you should have relevant Ad.Banner advertising on and within your site and blog.
