How many posts do you publish weekly
Today I asked something from a member, when he heard l only have 40 posts he felt i could do much better.
Although this is not a surprise as my publishing frequency show 40%, l thought 40 posts were alot.
Got me thinking how many posts do members here publish per month/week.
l average 1 post in about 10 days (l have 3 sites so it`s about 1 post every 3 days) why 3 sites? my first niche is what i love travelling, my second site is what i did for a long time (beauty) my 3rd site is make money site.
l know l should give up 2 and concentrate in 1 but im confused which to give up + l have invested so much time and some hundreds in outsourcing so im hanging on to all 3 for now.
How many posts do you publish in a week? how many posts does your site have?

Roamy, I'm the same. I have three sites. All three are my passion but I started the first one, my gluten-free site, a few years ago. That site isn't doing great because I think people visit just for recipes. My other two sites I am actively trying to get more content on. I know my problem is that I don't write enough. I'm trying to keep to a posting schedule of at least one post per week, per site but even that is difficult sometimes.
I have to admit, I'm sorry I took on two more sites. One more site along with my gluten-free site would have been plenty. It's a struggle to keep up and I haven't really nailed down a good system yet to "rinse and repeat."
Hello, I think that 3 posts per week per site is excellent publishing rate. It is hard for me to achieve it yet, but I am trying! :)
3 posts per week is 1 post every 2 days, where is then the time to learn/research and all the little things to be done.
Honest IM is just as hard work
Like you I have 3 websites plus WA. One is a HawaiiEnvironmental site, one is devoted to personal and community resilience and one is focused on internet marketing. I try to post a blog a week in WA and then abstract that blog and post it in appropriate website with a link to the full article in WA. I also try to post in or add a page to each website at least once a month.
I do three external websites because they reflect my 3 major interests. Right now I am focusing on those aspects of my sites that can make me money.
interesting niches, l have never been to Hawaii.
Good job, keep going, im sure you will succeed
cheers Roamy
Hi there, I try to add one post a week, sometimes two, this is something I have only began doing in the last 3 months, prior to that I was struggling with time. I have about 40 posts now...and still going!! :)
I guess my posting is just like you, every 10ish days. I work on 2 blogs.
My first blog has about 50 posts. About half about them are crap. lol
But my last 10 or so posts are pretty good. I haven't published a post that's less than 1,500 words in a while.
My other blog has 10 posts. This will probably be my biggest site by next summer.
You can still go back and improve your not so good ones.l still go back to my earlier posts from time to time for improvement
I aim on publishing once a week, and try to do it always in the same weekday.
My post are 600 words or more with a lot research behind so...
I also have 3 sites, but I'm only working on 2 of them for know.
I follow Steve's rules for google, especially the one consistence (rule number 6): 15 Reasons Why Your Site Isn’t Listed In Google, Generating Traffic, or Making Money
Hi Anna
My sites are also very well ranked. l have several page 1 ranks. Most of my posts are also minimum 600 words.
Will have a look at the site thanks
That's why I think it depends on the niche.
If I followed a site on travel, I would except a weekly update.
Maybe if I followed a site on making money I would expect a bit more updates, or small tips, a different type of treatment.
So, my humble opinion is that it depends on the site.
And I think your site is just fine like it is! (the travel site, the one I follow!)
I was hoping to do one per week however it has not worked out that way so I do need to do more, it is also about social media to do not get down about it just keep adding
not enough only 11 pages and 22 posts on one site and my newest one 6 posts and 6 pages ... so you can guess I have loads to get done had some setbacks but the road is clear now
yes now I am home can focus completely if there is one thing I am good at that is bouncing back
I wouldn't give up a site if your passionate about it. I'm kind of in the same boat. I have 4 websites. 2 of which have been ignored by me in over a month. I may be getting rid of those 2. The last 2 I'm definitely keeping. But I have been so busy worrying about just one site. Right now I am trying to post 1 per day on one site. The more you post the more people commenting the higher you can get ranked in search engines. That's how I look at it.
my ranks are very well, only writing is an issue. many times l think og giving up 2 of my sites but cant decide which one to give up,the one l want to give up has taken the most work, but l know some time in the future l will give up 1 or 2 because l now have different travel niche in sight lol

Hey Roamy, up until now I published about 1 every week or a bit less. Now, with the second site will see. Do you think, it doesn't pay out to have more than site?
Hello, having more than 1 site (to me) is alot of work, starting a 2nd,3rd site should be done maybe if you already have 50 posts and site does not require too much work.
We have more than 1 interest so having more than 1 site l think is natural if you have(can make) the time
thanks for the opinion, it helps!
