Did Nothing Different But My Traffic Is Gone
Recently, my traffic has been dipping and dipping, it got so frustrating I stopped checking analytics. But I realize it had not even reached the lowest yet, yesterday when I checked, my traffic has dropped to just 190 in a whole week, now my site used to get two times this much in a day.
I have done nothing different and did nothing different in the past but followed the training here so I`m wondering what`s wrong. my site has about 180 posts.
This has gotten me totally confused and in a way angry, what happened, why are people nolonger visiting my site.
It`s the first time in a year that I only made 2 Amazon sale in a full month, that my Amazon clicks in a month are only 256 but as said, only 2 sales.
where did I go wrong? Have to figure that out now but not giving up although I have been so frustrated.

Wow I'm sorry to hear that. Please keep us updated if you figure out what happened. Maybe you could teach some of us newbies how to prevent that or get through it
Roamy my main business website traffic has dropped significantly in the last 3 months and I have heard a lot of websites have had much less traffic - there will be ups and downs - the important thing is to keep on adding new content.

Nope - I went from about 900 organic traffic a day to about 600. It is very upsetting but there is not much that can be done except to keep plodding along! The only way to rectify that is to continue to add quality content. I've heard loads of people have lost a huge amount of traffic recently with the new updates.
Try not to let it get to you too much, just keep at it!
I think the best I can do is to keep on writing content as I did nothing different in the past.Right now I just feel angry
It could be the "usual" Google dance ...
But a few recent Google updates also have been launched recently :(

I have noted that what used to be easier to do has become much more difficult. Much of this is my fault, but things are getting tougher in the affiliate marketing arena.
Was this sudden? Maybe there are errors you are not aware of and perhaps going to the Search Console might reveal something. Maybe the niche is getting too much competition. It could be many things.
I put out some 50 or so articles and have not gotten a single bite. This is my WA campaign and I'm thinking of putting an end to it, and simply using WA for the business services it has. I used to know, and was known by many people on here but that faded away, and the cap on that occurred when I cleaned out my Buddy List. I'm not around here much anymore.
I am planning on doing WA for 2019 and am going to be shifting gears. I have a final task I need to perform whilst still on the earth and it's time to start with that.
For me, the amount of work I did would have brought a number of invites, but over the entire year, I've gotten one, and as you might expect in this, no new sales.
I'm strongly convinced it's my writing more than anything else and I've been trying to reach the wrong audiences all this time. I'm also convinced that Wealthy Affiliate's programs are extremely effective. I think I've been fighting a losing battle with this because I do have personality disorders that had always gotten in the way of being able to reach out, and this type of thing is very important in this business. You can know the mechanics inside and out, but if you don't have people skills, it's not going to get you anywhere.
I am speaking for myself and why I have difficulties. This is in no way a reflection on you and why you are having your difficulties.
I am coming to strong conclusion that I'm simply not where I belong and need to begin backing out. Again, I would still be around because what WA has to offer is simply awesome. I just won't be using it for monetization efforts. There is something much more important than that.
I hope you can find any issues that are causing you to lose your traffic. It could be something Google doesn't like, errors, changes in your niche, anything. The only thing you can do is pare down at it until you find the problem.
