Okay, I just deleted it. Thanks, guys!

Unfortunately, there will always be people out there that just want to rain on your parade. I'd let it go and don't look back :)

I'm not an expert on this. But maybe you can look at it as if you actually met this person face to face, what would you do. But for me, like in this case, I would just be positive about it and wish them well :D, ask why they don't agree and then refer them to other reading maybe. No need be mean, everyone entitled to their own opinion but be stern too :) . I hope I been helpful.

In "offline life" I would just ignore it. But here, I'm thinking how I can turn it to my advantage...

If you have some good interactive comments already and they raise a good point, you could acknowledge their perspective and respond with facts from your post.
If it one of the only comments you have from the post I would probably delete it since it doesn't add to the discussion.

You can try to engage them in a discussion. Explain your position and your thoughts. Perhaps they will comment again and the discussion continues.

Or if the comment is totally irrelevant to your site and brings to value to other visitors on your site, delete it. You are the master of your Blog World!

Well, it's kind of relevant, but nothing that can be discussed. Under an article about depression, somebody wrote: "Sounds like someone who has only suffered from periodic sadness, not actual depression." That's it.

Sound pretty useless to me.

Delete them. My webspaces are places of positivity. I don't have time for negativity.

A couple of days ago I have noticed that, all of a sudden, the people I followed on Twitter started sharing stuff from Gemstars. I checked a couple of those posts, and honestly

Some hideous stupid website showing supposedly surprising things. So annoying. I have unfollowed all those who were sharing it.

sounds annoying Marta, I hope to not see many of them :) Thank you for the warning!

Marta, What exactly are gemmstars?

I am also interested in this answer, what Gemmstars exactly is, it does sound like the invitations I get on FB to play candycrush. I have asked around and my friends do not even play the game

Sounds like it may be a virus indeed!

I found a keyword with the following characteristics:

84430View Result109.5

Note that there is 0 traffic, but the other indicators are very high. Is this any good?

The searches are the estimated number of people that are searching that term in Google every month, while the traffic is the estimated number of clicks you'd get to your website assuming your site was listed #1 for that term. The 0 traffic could be an error in the system, sometimes I find it spits back weird numbers. It wouldn't make sense for a keyword to get a high number of searches and no traffic.

Well, I dug deeper... Now the numbers are more realistic. But still very low competition, so I'm gonna try anyway :) Thank you!

Oh okay, sounds good!

Searches 8443
Traffic 0???
Competition 49
Article Strength 10
PPC Power 9.5

And it does make sense. Too good to be true?

I'm being suspicious.

Hi there!

Can you tell us the number of competition you are getting?

Searches shows you the number of times people have typed this keyword phrase into the search bar. Traffic indicates the number of visitors you can possibly get, if you are ranked on the first page of Google (with that keyword).

It does seem strange that there would be 0 traffic. What was the exact keyword phrase that you searched for? You keyword has to make sense. It cannot just be random words strewn together.

Cheers =)

What is your niche? Clickbank can be a difficult place to find high quality products

Mental health (Depression & Anxiety)

Hmm unfortunately I am not familar at all with the niche.. I would just keep a lookout for them. You can try doing searches like "depression + digitial affiliate product" (same for anxiety) and see if you can find anything further. Unfortunatley when it comes to digitial products usually Clickbank is one of the better options to find them.

Thanks. I want the two things, Amazon may not be enough. Even though the conversion is high, the actual commissions are miserable in terms of percentage. So I want to complement it with some Clickbank product. I'll check the lesson then.

The commission rate is pretty normal. Many programs offer around the same percentage. Maybe you should focus on building out your website first. Anyway without traffic, you can't make any money =)

Hi there!

Have you gone through Kyle's lesson on finding affiliate programs related to your niche?

Here it is: Have you tried the Amazon associates program? Amazon has a very high conversion rate, with access to countless of products. It is also a well trusted site.

Cheers =)

Most paid themes you will have to upload using ftp if you host your site here at WA.

This is the solution I found in the theme support...

Error: Are You Sure You Want To Do This?
If you get the “are you sure you want to do this” error message after uploading the theme.zip
This error is normally because your WordPress site does not have sufficient file upload limits in order to upload.
Solutions:

Solution 1) Upload the plugin or theme via FTP or Cpanel – Click here to view (advised)
Solution 2) Speak to your host and ask them to increase your file upload limitations for WordPress
Solution 3) Inside your wp-config.php file, add this line at the top of the file:
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘128M’);
Please note in cases where your PHP limit is also reduced you may need to speak to your hosting company to increase this

Now what?

What's the Theme?
Kyle has written a Blog or two about Themes not allowed.

It is, I'm absolutely sure.
