I've been posting fro awhile following all of WA's suggestions - keyword research etc - but Google Search COnsile tells me noone is seein gmy posts. Any suggestions?

Great advice from Michael and Steph. Perhaps worth you checking your title subject in Google search and seeing what others have written. Maybe your subject matter isn't grabbing the attention of your readers.

Lily 😊

Hi Robert,
I would suggest you go to google webmasters tools...Search console...Start now....when you arrive there go to URL inspection click in the blank box enter your Blog/Post URL and hit enter...here google will search that URL and tell you if it has been recognized. If not then click on Live test, it may take a minute for the search also there is that captcha thing... here you will get some results...URL is on google which is good if all is green click on want to be indexed.
If you have gone through all of this, I would also check the results on Bing.

Best wishes,
Michael

Maybe you should promote your site more often. That’s what I do. Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr have been the ones who’ve gotten me some traffic. Always make sure that you follow all the steps to SEO so that google indexes you and then you’ll have more opportunity in the search consoles

Thx for the reply. I have been following all the steps required and the strange thing is that earlie I was getting indexed but it doesnt seem that I am now! Also I have been promoting on FB and Instagram.

You can always see what content of yours is indexed on Google by clicking SiteContent on here and going to the detail tab that’s near your word count. Have you tried using Pinterest? That is also a really good site to promote your website.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a godaddy domain - robandlyndajay.com - and pointed the nameservers towards WA as instructed. This has been verified by a community member. I

Also, double check your that your domain name is changed over to WA. The problem is that a domain can not be transferred legally for 60 days. You will need to check with Go Daddy if you are transferring your domain to WA. I do know that Go Daddy has an area on their dns, that requires that you give permission to have Go Daddy change the site. There are things like ns # etc. that are needed in transferring a site. Also mx records and the A record. It is all very involved. I know this because I was working on a site that used Go Daddy, and tried to add a new domain from another registrar. Wishing you well, Krista

Hi I think the domain will take a little time to load and become active on the net. I might mention that if you are/have been using the siterubix.com, the website you have will need to be transferred. I think I went through my leader to find out more. Good Luck, Krista

For it to go live you need to create a page or post and publish it.
If you follow the steps in the training it is all explained

Did you go to Websites > SIte Builder and try to build a new site by selecting On a Domain I Own and selecting it from the pull-down menu?

yes. It said that my new domain was not enabled.

Try this,
Go to Websites > Site Domains and click on the Settings button next to the domain. Pick any option from the menu and then try again. I heard doing this has fixed it for someone else before. It was like it had been completed but didn't register it.

If that doesn't work, open a ticket with Site Support.

I recently purchased a domain from godaddy - www.robandlyndajay.com and changed the nameservers to WA as instructed, so why is it not showing here so I can build another websit

I see that the name serves are pointing correctly:

Domain Name: ROBANDLYNDAJAY.COM
Registry Domain ID: 2432047371_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.godaddy.com
Registrar URL: http://www.godaddy.com
Updated Date: 2019-09-11T21:13:16Z
Creation Date: 2019-09-11T00:39:37Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2020-09-11T00:39:37Z
Registrar: GoDaddy.com, LLC
Registrar IANA ID: 146
Registrar Abuse Contact Email: abuse@godaddy.com
Registrar Abuse Contact Phone: 480-624-2505
Domain Status: ok https://icann.org/epp#ok
Name Server: NS1.MYWAHOSTING.COM
Name Server: NS2.MYWAHOSTING.COM
DNSSEC: unsigned
URL of the ICANN Whois Inaccuracy Complaint Form: https://www.icann.org/wicf/
>>> Last update of whois database: 2019-09-30T19:53:45Z <<<

Now you need to go to Websites > Site Domains and add the domain name under Other Domains. You can then use it at WA.

Thx for the response! Have added our new domain as suggested but it says there's an error but they're working on a fix!

That's a generic alert. I'd open a ticket with Site Support to be safe.
