Hello Rachel, regarding google adsense, sorryI can not give you the exact solution on that because even my adsense had an error also, but I just leave it for the mean time, anyhow there is google search console and analytics that i 'm relying for monitoring of my traffic.
Thanks isabelo, I use google analytics as well but the code for Adsense is how I would get paid for having ads on my site

I just got my first comment and I really don't like the appearance or the location of it. Is there a way to edit the appearance and location?

Cheers, Rachel! Another way to customize the comments is by using custom CSS (styles). Send me a PM if you want help. You can make the font size anything you like.

That depends on theme design, may be you would like to change your theme.
Posts have comments section, pages not but you can enable | disable quick edit pages | posts tick | untick option, save changes or update.
An About me post typically has a comment section as an example, so that folks can connect with you.
Thanks so much for answering. I don't really what to change my theme. But I am going to see if I can only show them as widgets and disable the bottom comments or figure out a way to make it smaller with my theme. It's generate press and I pay for generate blocks.
