You will be ok while you are building your content out, however, SiteRubix subdomains don’t look professional to your visitors, you don’t own the domain name so you are unable to migrate it to another web hosting provider should you wish to leave WA, and some affiliate programs do not allow free shared subdomain. So when you are able to, it is highly recommended that you purchase your own domain name, so that you own your entire business.

No it shouldn't as long as you are happy with your chosen niche. When you are able register a .com domain, you would be able to move your current site with a click of a mouse in your back office.
