I cancelled WA premium membership on 4/5, and was charged the $49 fee the same day. I have already transferred my websites to another host and will not be using any WA premium

it is happening the same to me, no response and no refund of my annual premium $295. I am trying to contact both Kyle and Carson
both are ignoring me since 01/14/22 despite my repeated private messages at least once a day but of no use.
I already recommended a few and my high openion is way down.
It is distressing.

Hi @risingtrance. I'm experiencing the same. I contacted Jerry, and he sent me to contact Kyle. But Kyle never replied to previous messages I sent him. Technical Support said they were going to contact Carson. Since then, they have been ignoring me. One of the reasons I want to cancel is their lack of support and communication to us. I'm very disappointed.

Same thing happened to me. Seems they want to take your money but no way to give back a portion.

Hi - WA does not offer refunds. Surely, you read the terms of service when you signed up?

But they should offer a prorated amount for cancelling at different time intervals. It's just poor business that they do not offer some percentage back. Things happen in life and it is better to have good feedback on a company with good customer service and practices, than to create a soured situation. Surely, you see my point.

As with all purchases, caveat emptor.

SOLUTION: Log into your personal bank account, go to debit orders and select “stop auto debit”. I’m not sure about your country but ”reverse auto debit” is possible to a certain extent within my country.

Alternatively, contact your bank.

Please do understand, there are over 1 million members on here. Kyle does get back to you. It may take a few days, but he does get back to you. I have personally contacted site support a few times needing help. They have sometimes helped me straight away, sometimes it takes longer, but they have never let me down. Im very sorry to see you go. Memberships build here every day, ive learnt to have a little faith, and your problems do get fixed.

That is not true. I have contacted Kyle before about website/email issues that tech support failed to fix. He sent a generic answer, same one tech support gave me, which does not work, and when I message him again, he never got back to me.

Other webhosts like bluehost or HostGator have even more members, but their tech support is 24/7 and they don't leave you until problem is fixed. WA charges $49 a month and don't have enough staff to get back to member on time?

I can't help you, but I can tell you you're not alone.
This happens to me also on my WA hosted site, but not on any of my externally hosted sites (and I have several).
Refreshing DOES fix it, it's just that you need to do it several times. Eventually, it will come good. That way, you don't lose any work, because it's still buffered at your end. If you exit the browser, that buffer is lost.
I'm in Australia, so the issue could be at the WA end or in any of the connection points between the US and here.
I have 2 other web hosts, one in Australia and the other in the US.
It doesn't happen with them.
I figured it would be pointless to report it to support. They'd just tell me the problem is in my connection.
And maybe it is. I can only hope that it doesn't happen to customers visiting my site in the US.

Thanks for sharing that! Good to know I'm not alone in this. I usually refresh it 5-6 times when this happens then I give up and close the browser. I will try to refresh it more next time. It is a very annoying issue :(

Can you try a couple of things the next time this happens to help narrow down the cause?

1) If you have a cell phone can you take it off your WiFi, so it's on it's cellular connection, and then test site access when you experience this issue on your computer? If you can reach the site on your cell phone and not on your computer this can help narrow it down to either your ISP, the route between you and the servers or your computer.

2) Can you use your cellular network as a hot spot for your computer? If the issue persists even when you're off your main ISP then it might be your computer, etc.

These tests will help to pinpoint where the issue might be.

If closing and reopening the browser gets you back to your site, then I don't think it's actually an issue of your site being "down". When your site is down, it doesn't matter which browser you use, or if you close browsers and reopen them, or shut your whole machine down and restart, when a site is down it's simply inaccessible. That would also explain Site Support saying all is well, because on their end it simply is.

It's always frustrating when you lose saved work, but as someone who's been here over 2 years I've never had any issues with my site being down. The next time this happens for you have a friend or family member elsewhere try to access your site. If they can access it, then you know it's not a server issue on the WA side. It may just be a connectivity issue to WA from your side. Sorry to hear about your frustration.

After I insisted on them to look into it, now Site Support says "There seems to be a cache issue at your end. You can try clearing your browser's and local DNS cache."

Good to know they would actually try to help if you ask twice. Anyhow I will clear my cache and hopefully this will work.

I can't help you, but I can tell you you're not alone.
This happens to me also on my WA hosted site, but not on any of my externally hosted sites (and I have several).
Refreshing DOES fix it, it's just that you need to do it several times. Eventually, it will come good. That way, you don't lose any work, because it's still buffered at your end. If you exit the browser, that buffer is lost.

Jay always advises to focus only on one keyword and write your post, and also not to fill the keyword in meta keyword.

Leon, you also need to put your keyword in meta title and as long as all the words are in there it's fine. The best way is to choose a keyword which makes human sense.

Can't login to my webmail. Submitted 2 support tickets. It's been 20mins and still no response.

Thanks guys! Yeah they respond eventually. Turned out I had a white space in the password after copy and paste. Fixed it real quick.

greetings to you if you can not access this site in the rich web site you have to restart your password if you intend to log in as your admin on your site you need this where you are click on the website below and log in without having the password or want to restart click on restart and any thing is selected that does not explicitly post any photos

I'm sure they will respond- they are usually amazing- be patient and don't keep sending tickets as they will work it out for you
