Hello everyone, I have a questions regarding to posts (taking into consideration the SEO)

Is writing many short posts better than writing longer posts?

For examp

I've written a post on this:
https://smartaffiliatesuccess.com/better-seo-blogging-strategy/

I always read high quality information from you Jerry, thanks!
I'll be visiting your site once in a while.

I hope to thank you personally in WA Las Vegas Conference one day ;)

Greetings!

It's my pleasure Enrique! All the best :)

Hi
Im not an expert here.
Just want to give my opinion that...
If you write thousands of words but not a useful content, I don't think I want to read it either.
So I would say it should be useful.
The length of the post may not matter that much.
Some post like wikihow only have very little words but super useful. They always ranked high.
Even a post with no words, but the website include an useful tool like free online video converter can rank very high.
Why? It is so useful.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

I definitely agree with you. Thanks for sharing!
:D

The first focus should be on quality. Then, clearly, the more quality posts you can write the better, but quality should always come first.

Also, not all posts need to be the same length. I have a news section where I let people know of new security threats I read about - those posts are probably no more than 100 words or so, with a link to the source, but it's a natural part of the site.

Some themes enable you to use different formats for posts, such as 'Asides', or 'Comments'. If your theme does, it's worth exploring.

Variety creates interest, but always focus on quality.

Cheers,

Martin.

Thank you for sharing this great answer. I appreciate it!

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you something else…

Let's say I have a good quality 10k post, it is like a "mini" course about something in niche. What would you do? Would you separate the post (like a Part I, Part II, Part III) or would you upload just one post of 10k words?

Thank you in advance!
Rique.

I would probably turn it into a mini eBook and sell it for USD7 a time.

Cheers,

Martin.

Great question thanks for asking and helpful answers

Yes, that's what I like about this community. Everybody likes to share their opinions in a very humble and helpful way.

Greetings!

Yeah, it really depends on what it's about. I've been indexed in less than a week with posts that had 800-1000 words. Just thoroughly explain what it is that you are talking about.

Thanks for the answer. For sure I will definitely focus on quality content. :)

I tend to just write naturally. If it’s quality it will be the length it’s meant to be.

Makes sense since I'm creating content for people.

Thanks for answering,
Rique. :)

Someone just wrote his posts are ranking well when it ~3500 words.
Neil Patel's research average length WHICH RAKS better is 1890.
Kyle 's training is on minimum 1000 words.
It is better to have a pillar kind of posts using LSI which will be internally linked.
There are Jay's training and other pieces of training about these.

I will look for the training you mentioned, thanks! :D

Rique.

I focus on longer QUALITY content instead of many short low-quality posts. And many experienced marketers will tell you the same. :)

Thanks for sharing!

I also think that a good longer post is better, at least from the user experience point of view. Since it would be a tedious process to "click" many times in order to continue reading the content.

I was just wondering if it affects the SEO, but better to focus on quality! :D

Greetings Zarina,
Rique.

It affects SEO very positively ;)

Np, Rique!

Great question, I would like to know too from the gurus...

Hi everyone, I can not login to my email. When I try to access to the webmail, there is a "Server responded: -ERR Login failed". Any help will be welcome!

Have you tried to reset your password? If that doesn't work, the community can't help you with that, you need to send in a support ticket

Hi, I'm en level 3 of the training and I'm working on my first website. I like the style of my website, but it doesn't look very good on mobile devices. some content is missing

Like Rob said, it sounds to me like you will need to change your theme.
Before installing and activating a new theme read the description and make sure it's list of features states it is "Responsive" - is able to visually accommodate to any device.
Also look and see when that theme was last updated. If it has been more than a year, maybe 2, I'd consider a different theme.

Susan

Thank you Susan, I'll take it into consideration!

Greetings,
Rique.

First and foremost...Continue with the training.

Secondly, I would look into changing your theme and find one that you like that looks good on mobile.

You can easily accomplish this by using one of your 25 free Site Rubix websites and make it a test website for installing a bunch of themes.

Then activate one of the themes and view it on a mobile device. If you want to view another installed theme, activate it, and it will replace the previous theme.

Got it, your tip about a test website is a good idea.

Thanks for sharing!

You are welcome.
