Lets get realistic here that what ever is posted here also gets on the world wide web for all to see. I personally would not put my personal earnings or anything relating to it on a post for all to see. It is nobodies business how or what i earn. We are here to lesrn and teach others what we have learned over the years. Its called paying it forward and for all the sceptics out there you would need to try it to believe it i guess.
Good luck
Tommy

I haven't seen anybody asking anyone to show/tell their earnings in public, which is understandable. But there is still nobody who has been willing to show their website (apart from WA) that makes money from other sources than promoting WA. I have seen a few absolute beginner websites, that's it. So I understand Rikmat for asking questions. Or should we all be quiet and ask no sceptical questions?

The truth is, obvioulsy, that very few people are actually making any serious money with affiliate marketing. That's why the WA affiliate program is being offered to help members make a few bucs by attracting others into the fyke. I have seen the same method implemented again and again on many other membership sites that teaches how to make an online income as an affiliate.

"We are here to learn and teach others what we have learned over the years." You say.

I don't like to sound cynical, but I like to learn by example. How can I learn to play the piano from a teacher who won't show me that he can actually play himself, and not just give advice and talk about others who have learned to play!?

That is reasonable. I am getting enough income to cover my cost here with WA and jaxxy. Now I am in the process of building another niche site from what I learned from building my two promoting sites. I am taking my time to make sure it is done right. Besides that I only have a couple of days per week to work on this. But in my down time at the ports of Los Angeles I help people from my iPhone and tablet. I also do what I can from my tablet on my sites.
Good luck
Tommy
Here is my new site I am working on if you want to check it out
http://funpartygames.org

Awesome.:)

Well, everyone have their own reasons for not sharing their work. I personally know MANY sites created by WA members that is not linked to promoting WA.

I will not share them because its not my place to do it. I'm sure if you become active in the live chat and read blogs that it pops up all the time. You can also choose (Activity -> Success) tab from the homepage of WA to show you only success stories. There also you will see some people sharing their work all the time.

But I did simple search on Google and took a minute to find you 2 sites that are clearly affiliate sites that are not liked to promoting WA.

http://www.ugiftideas.com/
http://www.shedyourweight.com/

I guess if you're still not convinced then I'm sorry.. no one here can help you change your mind. :)

If you do not like what is on offer here just leave, people want different things from this site, I just want the community, I am building a business online but I want to go a very different route than is on here but I love the community and the training its helping me build the business that I want
I have decided to always make long term decisions so it will take time for me to build my business
I personally know people on here that make a full time living but they do so because they are so busy actually doing it and do not spend much time getting in arguments on this forum they are out there doing what it takes to create an online business

Just get going if you want to get successful

Barry

......

what s the point of the community if the successful ones dont have time
to show anything because too busy to make money ......

Yep, I have a site that I do real well with.
I had it before I joined WA, so I don't know if that really counts regarding your question.
Also, it's not an affiliate site. Although the one I'm currently building is.

So, this probably begs the question. What am I doing here, if I already have a successful site? For one, the information will only make my sites stronger. Second, I've found nothing in the training that is offered that I could say doesn't work.

This stuff does work. It just doesn't work overnight. It takes lots of dedication to figuring out what fits and works for you.

Thanks......wich site?

I posted the site in areas that were made specifically for that purpose. You can do a search above for "Site Reviews" and see the posting.
There are also lots of people posting "Sales" posts as well.

For those of you who appear to be doubters and need "proof", try this post: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/pauric/blog/a-better-life-wealthy-affiliate-one-year-on.

I think rikmat and others are perhaps not doubters, just healthy sceptics to anything where they will be laying their money down every month. Shouldn't we all be just a little bit sceptical? That's normally considered good business sense :)

Regarding the success story: as usual most websites here are making money by promoting WA in some form or another, not by promoting other affiliate programs.

I have made good money in the past with PPC promoting my own products, but I still can't seem to break it with pure affiliate marketing which is pretty damn tough.

By the way Allyn can we see your moneymaking website? Since you are in the top 50 I guess you must be pretty successful, perhaps we can learn a thing or two :) Much appreciated.

Please realize that the WA ranking is not based on monetary success. If you read the definition of the Ambassador program, there are three key factors involved. One is defined as being a "helper".

I actively try to help answer questions that people might have each day because others have done it for me. I also greet and encourage new members regularly. Doing so has continued to bring up my "rank."

Since I didn't define the rules for the rankings, I don't have control over the fact that it's building my rank.

As far as money goes, I'm still relatively new and I am not making much. Let me add, however, that I have also not done much yet to try to monetize my site. I've been adding content, just as many of those before me have told me to do. My success will come, it's just still down the road a piece.

Look for the High Volume tutorials. Such as this one.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/if-i-were-to-start-a-new-site

The owner of that tutorial makes a full time living from his site.

Ok it s a joke ....only the founders have successful sites

He is not a owner of Wealthy affiliate. He is the owner of ivetriedthat.com. He learnt from WA and built his site.

I haven't seen any websites so far created here at WA that does. I guess they exist, but I have asked several times, even on the chat. For some reason noone wants to show their real cards.

It's a lot of liking, following, refollowing and inspiring words like: "Work hard, be patient, I believe in you. You'll get there. I'm here to help." Etc etc. All very good, but it would be really nice with some hard evidence that someone has actually gone from zero to hero through WA. Show me the websites, yeah I hear you!

the other way to look at it is that no one is here to brag, WA is about learning how to do it, and being a supportive community, it is not about bragging rights

there are lots of other sites that may brag about their accomplishments, but don't be surprised if you dug deeper into the stories that there is a lot of fluff

I hear you, But if I have a teacher, mentor or coach, I want to know how great and successful he is, so I can be inspired, but also to build trust that thehe/she is able to lead me down the right path. I wouldn't want a broke person teach me how to get rich. Or a quack to heal me from a serious disease. you follow me?

that is a valid point, what I have learned to do, with this site and with others, is to discern who is real deal, whether or not they are making BIG BUCKS, and follow them

I am more inclined to follow someone who is still learning than someone who has already arrived because the person who has already arrived and is bragging about making the BIG BUCKS has lost touch with what it is like to learn and make mistakes along the way.

as for those I will avoid, it is those who demonstrate that they have no interest in learning and putting into practice the advice they are given.

all the best,

on the left hand side, at the top, there is tab labelled "Activity Dashboard", click there and in the center there will be some selections, choose the tab labelled "Success"

hope that helps!

check out everyone who is posting a success story, that is a good place to start.

Sorry maybe I m dumb.....where can I check succesfull story and site...thank you

sorry I accidentally created a new comment instead of replying, but the short answer is in the Activity Dashboard

I can't because I am a Newbie. But I am sure W.A.. is doing well. Needless to say there are some top businesses scattered throughout the membership. If I was you I would write to the 20 top ranked members and get their story.

The people who own this site make a pretty good living:)

I miss the link.....ahhhhh the founders....I enjoy your answer....great

Is this the only real success story? :)

Sometimes, when people show their sites, others go out and steal their work. It happened to friend of mine out here. That's why I believe the more successful members keep a low profile.

I just don't see how anyone should be able steal someone's work. If a great blog that has taken 1,2,3 or even 5 years or more to establish a huge following and lots of daily visitor = business, nobody can just take a look at their site, copy it and take over their trust and business.

On that same token then anyone could go to google enter a KW term find the top site, copy it and overtake them. It's just not possible.

If your comment as an ambassador is correct it would point out a serious flaw in the whole WA philosophy about and open and sharing no-holds-barred community.

Everyone here is an independent business owner and can choose weather or not they want to share their work. What kind of statement is that?

It's not a statement, Didn't you read my message? I said noone can steal someone work like you claim that's not possible. Please reread.. :)

I did read it. OK, I gave you a real life example of a friend of mine here who does well with her site's. That was her reason for no longer sharing her site's out here. Write or wrong, that is her reason.

You said there is a flaw in the WA philosophy about sharing. People share idea's and experiences but not everyone wants to share their sites. I guess they have their reasons.

OK. I understand.

But I cant even find one sharing a successful one That s scary

I think the real intension of this site is to attract total newbies refered by strugling beginners.

That's all well. But it's still just words. Just like any gurus and all their testimonials. She hasn't shown a website. At least tell us how or from what she is making her money? If it's just from promoting WA then we are back to where we started in this thread by Rikmat.

OK. I guess nothing will convince you. There is no "good enough" proof for you. Good luck :)

Yes, show us 'how and what' she makes her online income on. Not just some sweet little testimonial that can be written by anyone trying to attract new members to sign up to Premium.

yep, sad to say, but I start thinking most are promoting WA and it s not what I want to do.... the community is great and encouraging , but basically I m not here to make some new friends, the target under the rows is clearly sign up to Premium.....in 4 hours 36 mins 31 secondI will lose the chance to upgrade to Premium for only 19 dollars ... 59 percent discount....

Watch the free starter level 1 and you are good to go. The rest is just fluff and can be found and learned for free online by searching google. ;)

Start here: http://www.wikihow.com/Start-Making-Money-Blogging and keep searching, there is nothing new under the sun, trust me.

Do you know of an effective keyword tool? The one you get here is the only one I've ever gotten results with. For me, it's worth the price of the membership alone.

Yes, there are many great tools out there. I personally use JaaxyPro which is a brilliant tool, mainly because it's webbased so I can log in from any device, a feature many of the other tool I have tested don't have.

The KW tool here at WA is just too crude. My advice if you can't afford it is to skip the membership fee and for just $19 get a real pro kw research tool ;) You will love it, trust me.
