So I went Premium today. I reckon a month should be enough time to evaluate what's what, and make a decision on my continued participation from there.
It's a friendly, thriving community, that much is obvious, but it remains to be seen if there's anything more beyond that. The additional lessons etc., that come with the Premium membership will determine that.
I've built several websites before for my on world businesses, never as an affiliate site though, so I am new to this. I am very much learning, and have learned a bit by my own research thus far, but I don't know it all (or pretend to) by a long shot. Thus, as when I engaged a personal trainer, I decided to keep my mouth shut and just do as I was told, and never mind what I thought I knew: it seemed the only way to fairly assess the value of his advice and services.
Which is what I'm going to do here. I will create a site specific to WA, and apply the lessons of WA to it. I have another off-WA blog/affiliate site I've got up and running (which was responsible for bringing me here) which will stay off-WA. It is in the same niche, and I can see how things compare. It won't be entirely a side-by-side comparison, because any gold I find will be applied to both sites, but I can see how my WA site develops in terms of time re ROI/performance as compared to my existing one.
As much as I appreciate the friendly community vibe encouraged here, I'm here with serious intentions, and don't suffer fools gladly, especially when it comes to me spending my money and time: I am looking for the advice of experts with a track record of success to back up that advice, not just "likes" and back slaps in community discussions and blogging.
So, onwards... :)
