Still Blocking Empower Network!

Wow, will these people never go away! Every time I think I have finally blocked the hucksters from Empower another hamster pops up and spins his spam wheel!

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there some magic button that you can hit so they know that you are not interested? This is not the kind of residuals I want. Ah well, I suppose it's my lesson learned and perhaps the odd reminders are OK (he says with clenched teeth). I think I need a virtual guard dog on my desk top. Scams have a foul smell, don't they?

On the other hand, I'm still enjoying WA although between Boot Camp and writing over at Street Articles I haven't had as much time to get in on Live Chat. Just know that I'm waving at all of you as you scroll through!

Promote WA back to them.

I will do that. Interesting idea

Always use an alternate e mail account when venturing into the fantasy world, lol

My email for those guys: "scamprogramdump"

Nice, lol

I talked to a girl who's supposedly making $30,000 or more from built up referrals, Angela James, and boy did I have a long talk with her... Paul Gardiner called me ignorant after she said I thought it was a scam (one of the top dudes) - since Angela is one of his top sales people. LOL. Overall, I was nice about what I said to her though, and I even gave her my email to send me the link to sign up to E.N. If I did sign up, I'd only sign up to the $25... and not even the e-wallet fee, because what I'd do is advertise my own business through there database, and that's it. I wouldn't advertise "FOR THEM", because I honestly believe they're a total rip & scam. Angela hasn't spammed me yet, so sorry. Seems like you got some real weirdos on you.

The reason I wouldn't advertise for them is when you make commissions from E.N., that's all filed through your taxes. PAYING the $25 fee should be fine, but if you're actually making commissions through them (a lot), you could end up with some legal issues on down the road. The way they have there business setup is very shady, and it would pain me to advertise E.N. to other (innocent) people. I believe the total cost is like $6,300 or something absurd like that.

Rick, There is a lot of software out there that electronic spiders search through any electronic page you have your name and phone number on. The person communicating with you, doesn't have to necessarily be on Facebook.

Thus, take your full name Rick Jantz with phone number off your electronic pages or they could soon be calling you. I seen the software in action.

An elite marketing team I follow says to use 2 spam e-mail accounts you create only for spam.

I agree with Nathaniell, some people call some stuff spam when it is NOT. If you applied for something on a capture page and an autoresponder captured your information, you asked for more information. If you are on Facebook, that is not very private at all. Even, if the people are communicating with you through a friend of a friend, that is social media. I picture social media as a night club. Anyone can engage in conversation with you.

You know you are in a computer autoresponder system when soon as you sign up for something you get a generic greeting instantly...usually welcoming you and trying to send you to another electronic page. Then, you usually get a series of pre-written messages spread out over time. Rick, the series of emails are usually long. Just send email series directly to junk folder like you have been doing or try to unsubscribe. But, be warned, sometimes when you unsubscribe; it triggers an actually hit. Which means a live human responded to an electronic message. Then, you can be sold to a lead generation company for solo ad contacts.

I have a friend that use to give my name out every time a salesman for Kirby vacuum or a timeshare presentation salesman asked for 10 friends as referrals, for example.

We always got a good laugh, because we always knew we would both be exchanging at least our names back and forth for these salesman's leads. When the salesman called me, I always listened to his or sales pitch to see what the offer was for a few minutes.

Social media is exactly what you signed up for. Laughing. I guess that is why some people here at WA are not giving their full name and using pictures other then themselves.

How did you get involved with them? One of the things I'm working on doing is infiltrating these places so I can write reviews about them. To do this, I have dedicated email addresses that are not connected in any way to social media so they can spam me all they want.

I'm after these bad boys! I will do whatever I can to ruin publicity for them. I realize there are other ones out there that are not as good as WA but are honest and never spam like some of these others do. I am currently working on a review for them.

I'm going to share this blog post because it's just another way to undermine these idiots. Thanks for writing this! It is an opportunity for me and others to do the same. I suggest as many as come to this blog, do some justice and share this :)

Hi Daniel. When I began my online search for a business EN came up pretty quick. I didn't have to opt in at all but I did, my bad. I will say that I looked for good and bad reviews but couldn't find any that were bad. So I think the more that are out there helps those who are looking. Would love to read yours so have at it. You will very likely help the next seeker.

I'm hearing a lot about it lately. I think Kyle wrote a review for it and so did others. I thought that perhaps you did to and is how you got involved. Anyway, I will be sure to have my "dump" email account for this and even better, make a hotmail account for it. This way, there is no connection with Google. I probably won't be able to become a member to EN as I don't have the extra money for it. However, I do have others who have had experience with it to draw from.

There are a lot popping up here too! Most are splatted with the SPAM IGNORE especially by Rich. I'm in Bootcamp you get really involved don't you? time flies.

are they just emails, or is it popping up when you visit websites? If it's emails, unfortunately, it sounds like they sold/gave your email address to some people and their 'lists', so you are probably getting emails from different entities (though all promoting EN).

If you are using Gmail, you could create a filter to automatically archive, mark as read, or delete any email containing the phrase "Empower Network". Here's the training on filters! https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/using-gmail-filters-to-organize-wa-email-notifications

No, it's on social media. i block the original folks and then it's a friend of a friend who I see is promoting it.

I just do not open there email and mark it spam so I do not see it unless I want too

Me too

Empower Network is definitely getting out of control. Way too crowded. Even to the point that most solo ad sellers aren't even accepting Empower offers to send to their lists! I feel like some kind of bubble is going to burst....

I have that sense, too. Thanks for your comment.

LOL! Last week alone I think I've received about 10 emails from them. In one of their last videos they stated that there are over 100.000 people in their network and that more then 300 are making over $3000 a month. Now, that means that the Empower Network is NOT life changing for at least 99,700 people who pay to be a member. Also........notice the countless earning disclaimers on their pages. Says it all..........

Great comments, thanks. They keep sneaking through some how on FB, Twitter, everywhere. Block em, I say!

To be honest I get sick of a lot of these so called guru's. These people just make money by scamming others. Nothing to be proud of I would say.

And in order for these 300 people to continue making money they need to people at the very bottom to continue "spamming" the product everywhere they go. I am sure this number will drop when folks realize they are essentially stealing money from the friends that they invite.

Robert Allen has written some really good stuff, but one of the things I don't like about his view of the masses in his book, "Multiple Streams of Income" is the outlook of human beings being "fish" that you snag. I don't like that and unfortunately this concept has taken the Internet by storm. Thus, a lot of these awful outfits came into being. Not saying this is the only thing that brings them up, for it takes shady people to do stuff like this.

Of all business models found online, I have not seen one yet beat WA.
