My Website Vision
60 Days! I have a couple of websites up that I'm proud of and give credit where credit is due...to the teachings and support here. It's been an incredible time and I am enjoying it so much and know there is much further to go...and I look forward to it.
60 Days! Is that what this blog is about? No. This blog is actually about "percolating", recognizing that something bigger is going on regarding my websites and what I can do with them. Recognizing that I am having an "ah ha interlude". Recognizing that the vision and direction for my websites have been brewing on the back burner and are now insisting that I pay attention and develop them.
We are often told by Kyle and Carson, and numerous others, to:
- focus on our content
- write for your reader
- build a quality site
- do your keyword research
Now it is time to truly develop the vision I have and plot the direction my sites need to go. Now is the time to focus my sites so visitors benefit and find the answers they need to the questions they are asking. Now is the time to bring these to the front burner and turn up the heat!
A website vision leads to writing quality content so that you stay true to that vision. A website vision provides focus and a "solid rock" to withstand the the uncertainties of the the internet, social networks and even criticisms. Finally, a website vision tells people who you are and helps you establish yourself as an authority in your niche.
60 Days! I know where I'm going.

Thanks Rick, awesome blog, So I see that I need just to be patient , lol thats easy to do
really great job!!!!
I call it "directed patience". Work with a goal in mind that needs to be longer than today
Great post Rick! In just 2 short months, you've really learned a TON about Internet marketing and how online business works. You've already got TWO published websites with content on them, but even better, you now have some clear goals with a vision of where you want to be. This alone is something to be excited about.
When you are new, it takes some time to learn the basics and how the business works. Until you know the basics it's difficult to "see the light"... but anyone who sticks through the first little bit and learns the basics will have that all important lightbulb moment where things become clear.
For you Rick, you're starting to see where your new set of skills can take you!!
Anyone reading this who is just getting the hang of things, I encourage you to have patience and be persistent with your learning. WA is a great platform to learn and get support....and we've bundled all the tools that you need as well. Take your time, learn the basics, and soon you'll be blogging about your new direction and goals just like Rick has here!
Congrats on coming up with a road map Rick, I can't wait to see the site!
Carson
Thanks Carson. Appreciate the time you took to reply and I agree that everyone needs to be patient. We are in the right place and we need to trust and follow the process.
Congratulations Rick with persistence and true dedication many good things will come your way.
Thanks Scott. All the best to you, too. You're doing great things and I enjoy reading your posts and Live Chats.
Hi Rick, great to hear you have come so far in only 60 days! Keep it up, and soon you would be enjoying the rewards of the seeds you have sown:) All the best!
