I would like to know which platform you work from on Wordpress.com or Wordpress.org
WordPress.com is the commercial side of Automattic who developed WordPress
WordPress.org is the free open source arm of WordPress for Self Hosted installations.
WA uses the Self Hosted WP on their own servers within the AWS cloud.
You therefore login to your WordPress installation via WA or via your own domain name. You do not visit the .com or .org websites.
You can however browse available plugins on the .org site, but you can also do this from within your own WordPress site.
neither of those - it can be a bit confusing with hte free program called wordpress and at least two sites with the same name.
wordpress dot org is the site which has created the wordpress program you use to simplify creating your site.
wordpress dot com was created just after the dot org and covers the gravatar creation - so you will need a wordpress dot com login for your gravatar creation.
but when creating your site content you log into your site and create pages and posts there - or in sitecontent and publish to your site
so hte wordpress talked about here is the program installed on your site not one of the two sites you are talking about...
