I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Hey Todd,
I thought I left a message on that earlier. My niche is to promote the legal hemp and cannabis industries. I wish to create the platform for the cannabis industry. I want to help entrepreneurs in the cannabis community start and build their brands. They can open their own storefronts in "The Cannabis Islands". An animated cannabis resort in a giant cannabis forest. We can set it up like the different regions and areas that exist in the world now on the site so our users can build their storefronts the way they would being from where they are located now if they wish, To highlight the distinct products they would like to offer the world. The "developer" I hired was supposed to build it that way but failed to do so according to our agreement. So while I wait to file a lawsuit to get my money back I cannot just wait around doing nothing. So I came here to see what your community has to offer as well as to what I might be able to offer. I really like how your community seems to be a group of selfless people who wish to help others and I value those qualities as I also try to do the same myself. The more training I go through the more I'm impressed by everything you guys have put together here. I can't wait to become a premium member to see what else is in here. Soon I will upgrade and unlock all the resources and hopefully build something that is unlike anything else that exists in the cannabis world. The Cannabis Islands! @richyg420

Yeah, you mentioned this. It's a cool idea. Now it just needs you to build it.

Thank you Todd. I am hoping that I will be able to build a platform to help promote the many benefits of the hemp and cannabis industries. I hope that is not a problem here. I understand if you are reluctant. There would be no hard feelings. Thank you.

Not at all. That's a great niche and there's only going to be more products to promote in that industry. Especially in N. America.

The next step is to narrow down your niche and pick out a domain name, which is really like your brand name.

I just sent you this, but here it is again... You can also read my thoughts on picking out a niche and domain name in this post... https://learntogrowwealthonline.com/how-to-choose-a-domain-name-for-your-website/

Let me know if you want to bounce any ideas off me. Otherwise just stick to the training...

Cheers,

Thanks Todd. I actually paid these so called "developers" quite a bit of money to build my website. It was to be totally animated taking place in "The Cannabis Islands". I wish to help other entrepreneurs start and build their brands in the cannabis industry. They can open their own storefronts in The Cannabis Islands and sell CBD, their own branded apparel, smoking accessories. Just about anything cannabis related. Just not cannabis itself, Yet. I don't want to deal with the various laws as far as interstate commerce with cannabis at the moment. I will promote other companies that do sell cannabis products but more as an affiliate marketer. Anyhow, these "developers" I hired took my money and tried to give me a half ass webpage that was nothing like we agreed to so I have to take them to court to get my money back. In the meantime I'm trying to learn as much as possible so I won't have to rely on people that will say anything just to get your money and don't honor their word about what they agreed to do. Especially after taking $12,000 from me. I already had the domain name but now it's not even on a server. I already filed for trademark protection for it myself so nobody can take it. It was at this domain address as a coming soon page but it's not even there anymore.cannabiznoids dot com, It is so frustrating having to deal with people that have no problem lying about what they can do and just taking your money like it's nothing. Just got to live and learn right? If starting and running a business was easy everybody would do it. I will not give up because I know what I will do is going to benefit others as that is what I want more than anything. Thank you for your time Todd and I will be going premium with your program as soon as possible. Most likely within the next 2 weeks. Thanks again.

Hi Richard,

I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. That sucks to say the least.

I paid $1000 for my first website that I could’ve made in less than one week with the training provided hear from Wealthy Affiliate.

Now I can make the site in two hours.

You have all the tools right here to build the foundation to your website. There’s some other tools that you can get to help create your design, sales pages, cool animations and so forth.

But for now, I would focus on the learning here.

At the same time, I’ve dealt with a lot of different types of business dealings and it’s horrible when someone treats you unjustly, and I always want to correct what’s unfair. So I don’t know what to tell you about the lawsuit and so forth.

Only thing I can tell you is that in most of these type of situations, the better decision is to put your positive energy into the next thing that will make you more money. Things like lawsuits are negative and they can usually bring you down and that reflects in your work and sometimes your life.

You’ll find that business is all about making good decisions.

I’m here to help however I can with your online business and I think you should focus on the classes for now. Ask questions when you need a hand. Either from me, or the community.

I look forward to seeing what you can create. Have a great day.

Thank you Todd,
I am not blaming anybody but myself for what happened. It was my responsibility to research the developer better. They showed examples of their animated videos but not a fully functioning website like I was asking for. Plus I never should have paid them in full until it was finished. Not to get too into it, but it wasn't that long ago that I was on the streets, so when I give somebody my word I really mean it. I would run through a brick wall to make sure that I honor what I say because that was pretty much all I had to be proud of, Unfortunately, that is not the case with everybody. We all need to realize that not everybody shares the same thoughts and intentions that each of us does personally. Making mistakes is going to happen. It's part of life. Not learning from the mistakes is when we don't grow as individuals. I really like your community and feel honored to have this chance to learn and grow as a person and a businessman so I thank you and I can't wait to become a full member of The Wealthy Affiliate Network soon. Thanks again.

Cool Richard. We live and learn and making mistakes is just part of the journey. I think you've found the right home to get started with your online ideas/dreams. This an amazing community and you just need to focus on the training and take advantage of it all.

Stick to the classes and just reach out and ask questions when you've got them. Thanks for the feedback and we'll be in touch.

Cheers,
Todd
