Hi all,
I have my Google Authorship set up for my website (www.sportssupplementsadvice.com), however it is not working properly. It is not showing my picture in google searc
Not sure what is going on but I think you'll find good training here:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-set-up-google-authorship-verify-with-webmaster-tools-google-analytics
If anything, it can take you back through the steps and you might find where you did something wrong.

Added it over a week ago. I definitely think the error messages are as a result of something:
Error: Missing required field "updated".
Error: Missing required hCard "author".
Does anyone know how to fix these???
Hi Richie,
Not sure if you're still having problems with this or not. Anyways, I'm not quite sure what is going on here either with these errors, but you may find this helpful along with the link DNave gave you below. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-set-up-google-authorship-in-wordpress by Kyle.
Sometimes it takes awhile for things to go through in the structured data results, but if you're still having issues, I'd suggest asking Welshy or Kyle either in a PM or under their trainings on setting google authorship up.
Hope this helps you out. Best wishes :) -Sherry
did you just recently add it? sometimes it can take some time to filter through to structured data results.

Hi all,
I am having difficulty finding my website on google. Even when I type in the url (http://sportssupplementsadvice.com/) into google, my site does not come up in the r
Yep, it is coming up now for me also when I type in the URL, which most definitely was not happening an hour ago - progress!! Thanks so much for the help - I'm guessing that manually submitting the site helped on that.
What will google analytics and google webmaster tools do to help get indexed?
With webmaster tools you can see how many of your pages have been indexed, you can manually submit a sitemap, and you can see other tidbits of info. analytics will let you see the traffic coming in and out of your site, and so much more. Main thing is don't get hung up on it, or you'll be spending more time looking to see how much traffic your getting vs. working on your site.
I typed in your url and it came up just fine for me. If you are referring to getting indexed it took mine about a week and a half for google to index my pages. Also if you haven't already you may want to set up google analytics, and google webmaster tools.
Funny enough.. within a few seconds of manually submitting your site it is not found:

I went ahead and submitted your site manually to google… but you can do it here as well:
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url
But if it was recent, it may take the google bots a bit to crawl and index your site.
When you submit to wordpress it “pings” (says hello) to a variety of services that should initiate an eventual google crawl and index of your pages.
But you can always submit there manually.
Less than a week - started putting meaningful content up on Friday and have been adding since then.
Perhaps I am being a tad impatient?
