Proof of the power of visualization

Hi Folks

This is my first post for around 3 months after a bout of ill health followed by my part time 15-20 hour a week job becoming a 50+ hour a week job for a brief period. Thankfully, both have now settled down and returned to normal!

I'm sure most people here in the WA Community will have heard of 'THE SECRET' which was produced by Rhonda Byrne a few years back.

For those who don't know, it's an explanation of the Law Of Attraction in DVD, CD and book form, and a website full of resources and fascinating, inspirational testimonies.

The Secret goes into Visualization. Simply put - how to manifest what you want in your life by focusing on images of it and feeling the feeling in the present of it's achievement.

I had tried this previously but had always allowed myself to become distracted, with predictable results.

However, when one particular event assumed such a significant importance in my life and that of my Family, I then put the practice of visualizing into effect with almost religious dedication for a period of time and IT WORKED JUST AS IT SAYS ON THE TIN.

On the Resources page of the Secret website, there is a blank cheque to be used for visualizing an amount of money. It can be downloaded, edited and printed off to be put in a prominent place where you can see it and dedicate time each and every day to focusing on it's attainment.

Some time back, my Wife was made redundant twice in the space of around 18 months. This situation forced us to put our house up for sale with the intention of relocating, since we lived in a rather out of the way rural part of the UK where well paid jobs were very few and far between. The job she found after her initial redundancy paid less than half what she earned in her previous job.

As my Wife is phenomenally clever and highly qualified in her field, with more letters after her name than she actually has in it, she is the bread winner in the household and I have assumed the role of House Husband - which, incidentally, I love!

Sadly the local housing market was every bit as depressed as the local economy, and although we had 'interest' in the house, nobody came forth with an offer.

After 8 months of being unemployed following her second redundancy, she found a job in another part of the country and would commute 2 plus hours there and back each day - around 100 miles each way.

After a year of my Wife still commuting back and forth, with still no offers on our house, we decided to relocate anyway as she could not physically sustain this along with the additional stress of her high-pressure job.

So, there we were running two properties - paying both mortgage and rent, two lots of utility bills and two lots of local Council Tax. We were seriously struggling financially, living hand to mouth and having to ask parents for a loan if we got hit by a big bill out of the blue - like my Wife's car finally giving up the ghost due to all the miles it had been forced to do.

So, now we finally get to the Punchline.....!

I printed off the cheque from the Secret website and put on it the amount we wanted to get for our house, and put the date on it 19th May 2017 - our eldest Son's 9th birthday.

I shut myself in a room and sat and stared at that cheque to the company of a 10 minute meditation soundtrack every morning when I got up and every evening before I went to bed. I also got into the feeling of utter relief and peace of mind such that it would be when the house was finally sold.

Lo and behold, almost 4 years after putting the house up for sale and 17 months after relocating, we got a buyer! And the completion date - the day the money went into our bank account was.......yes, you guessed it - the 19th May 2017! We didn't get quite as much as the amount I'd put on the cheque but it wasn't far off!

So, there you go guys and girls. Visualization and the Law Of Attraction works - it's more than mere myth.

I'm now back and on form.
