Cursing Myself Today - A Kick Up The Butt Is Needed
Hi Folks
I learned a hard lesson today. A lesson that's as old as time but still as relevant today as it ever was.
DON'T PUT OFF UNTIL TOMORROW WHAT CAN BE DONE TODAY.
So, what did I do?
I missed the deadline for the Jaaxy price increase.
When I saw Kyle's blog last week, I thought 'I'd better get myself signed up before 4th September'. What I should have done was get myself signed up NOW.
Instead, since I had already bought into Market Samurai prior to joining WA, I asked a 'Jaaxy vs Market Samurai' type question in one of the Classrooms. Thanks to all who responded, by the way, your answers were really helpful.
Today my two Sons went back to school and I've been busy looking after them over the school holiday - being a House Husband and Work From Home Dad. This weekend we also had my parents visiting. As a consequence, my WA has taken a bit of a back seat for the past couple of months other than clearing my e-mails and commenting on posts.
I guess I took my eye off the ball for just a little tooooo long and as a result I'm now going to be paying double for Jaaxy. Nobody to blame other than myself, so now I just have to move onto another valuable lesson, which is.......
We all make mistakes and we can't beat up on ourselves forever. Yes, we can allow ourselves the luxury of feeling the anger and the anguish for a time, but we must NOT stay there. We have to accept it and move on.
Hope nobody else logged on today with that same 'Oh, s**t....' moment that I did!
Guess I won't be publishing this as a 'Success Post'!

Hi Richard... learn from it, be at peace with it. If it were meant to be, it would have.
Focus on the great job you are doing with your kids, and am sure now that they are all heading back to school you will have a bit more extra time to do what you need to do with your business.

Hmmm...I's say it is a "success post" because you learned a valuable lesson, Rich. Even with paying double, you're getting tremendous value; the cheaper price would have made it a win/win....now it's just a win, lol.
