Hello! I am working on a website now for my wife and I'm using Woo-commerce for hers. She makes Homemade products and sells them. So far I like it. It allows you take payment and have a shopping cart and all that you need to complete the store. I say you should give it a try and see what you think.

Can WA tools help create a shopify store and business?
Not sure about Shopify but you could use woocommerce as a WP Plugin to create an e-commerce site.
No, I haven't as I'm not trying to create an e-commerce site at this time but if I did, yes I'd go with Woocommerce. Research for yourself but it's basically Shopify or Woocommerce that dominates that landscape as far as I know. I'm sure you'll get better answers from other WA members that actually use Woo. Matter of fact, maybe post the question,"What does anyone that has or is currently using Woocommerce think of it?" Hope this helps, good luck.

Instagram is another social media platform, and can be used as you do Facebook, twitter etc.
There are several blogs and trainings about Instagram on WA, just write Instagram in the question bar and you will find them.

How are others promoting, driving traffic and converting to sign up for WA?
You have been here since February, have you not been taking the trainings and lessons?
There are both on PPC as a means to making money from your site(s).
I suggest you take a refresher.
I have also published blogs on this as have some other members.

There is no banner for that. What you can do is take a screenshot of it and upload to your website. Then, add the image to your page/post and add the link to the image.
Of course you can, just follow the instructions of the other affiliate networks, and there you go.
