I wouldn't put a lot of value in seo plugins. Just put your keyword in title of page or post and include it a few time in content, maybe time for every 100 words of content.
If google doesnt use keywords how does it organize its search results? Of course it uses keywords

As Kyle says in his training video below, that keywords "are not the be all and end all of your website and content development" and "not every single page on your site is going to need to target a keyword". - Yes keywords are still important but not nearly as important as quality content. You can still rank highly in Google without always focusing on a specific keyword.
Watch the first 5 minutes of Kyle's video below. He explains in better detail what I have just typed here.

if anyone is looking for a free theme with demo content that is pretty easy to get around this one works.
WP Opulus - By Nimbus Themes
The only thing I can think of is just using google to search the theme name. Other than that I'm not sure how to verify without installing the theme.
The only way I've found is to go to the theme website support to see if the demo content is available. It can then be imported through the WP admin. The only ones I've found with demo content so far are premium themes costing upwards of $50

just getting started and I want to use my existing site layout. It's very basic but I like it. I'm not sure how I could recreate it in WP so I scouted round and found themematch
Hi RichB, I'm going to try it just now. I googled WA questions after seeing it and was surprised no one except you knows anything about it.
I have HTML sites to bring to WA so they have to be written form scratch in WP, but am not sure it will retain mobile content awareness. Maybe that's just a WP plugin. Any ideas? Did you persist with it?
I followed you.
The present site is www.camsxm.org and I am bringing it into camsxm.siterubix.com

You should be able to take the html article text and just paste it into a page or post of the word press theme you choose... is that the part you are concerned about?
Thanks for your reply Eileen. on camsxm.,org I want the blue side menu structure and color the same in the new WP site on WA.
Possibly this is about choosing a theme that looks at least close to it, or do I need a CSS programmer to style it once its on WA?
Any ideas are appreciated.
Michael
PS: I followed you
I doubt you need a CSS programmer. It is a pretty busy site, but there should be a theme that will work. I can help you browse, or maybe the WA tech support can aim to the closet theme that will work.
Send me a Private Message I'll help. :) It seems a theme with the ability to have a background image, with the added plug-in for the image slider, .... perhaps a magazine style theme.
If you would rather, you might just send a message to the Site-Rubix tech support. They may already be familiar with a theme that will work.
Let me know what you'd like to do. :)

The link works fine. I clicked on it and went straight to the site.
As far as your other questions go:
1) It's totally up to you if you want to convert it to Wordpress because you don't have to. However, since you want to work on it yourself and you are comfortable using Wordpress, then just create a wordpress site and get going.
2) As long as your hosting allows you to put up unlimited domains and has a cpanel and will allow you to install wordpress, why not keep them?
3) You need to touch base with your programmer and animator and see if they have experience working on Wordpress sites and gcreating wordpress plugins. As long as they are familiar with HTML, HTML5, CSS, and PHP, I don't see why it can't be converted over to a plugin. But check with them to be sure.
