What is the legality for taking product reviews from say Amazon.com and placing them on your own website, even if your are an amazon affiliate member and linking to the product
Hi - it is categorically forbidden under Amazon's terms and conditions. You cannot copy product information, reviews or star ratings. Neither can you use any images other than the one supplied to you as an affiliate. You can't even put the price of the item in your review. If Amazon audits your site and discovers any of the above, you are likely to be removed from their affiliate program

I had a feeling it would be something similar to those terms. So they want you to send them business but not by using any of their material.
So an affiliate link to a product has to have your own image on it but then you can have the amazon logo within the same box?
As an Amazon affiliate you are supplied with a piece of HTML code with 1 image, which when inserted into your website becomes a clickable link to the product.
