Thanks for all your help, this is actually very exciting news, if I am understanding the concept.

Hey Rich. I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, here's a screenshot of Jaaxy's return on "golf swing tips". http://d.pr/i/DJrN If you search for "christianity and cannibalism" in quotes, you'll see that Google returns almost a million hits http://d.pr/i/goYX However, if you work your way through to the last page of those search results you'll see http://d.pr/i/rpCd which shows that there are only 51 exact matches as far as competition goes. I'm not sure if this example will answer your question though! I "think" you might be confusing traffic with competition?! :) Rich.

Isn't using "s in google exact match? So in this example you are saying that someone could rank for the term "christianity and cannibalism" even though google shows millions?

The first figure Google shows is any possible combination, ie. "christianity has a chequered past, cannibalism....", "there have been instances of cannibalism through symbolism in christianity..." etc. There are only 51 exact matches for "christianity and cannibalism" together. Rich.
