Site Comments is pre

It seems to be slowing down. I used to request 1 and get 4 that day. Now I request 1 and wait days to get 1.

I think some people stop using when they're not getting the amount of comments they requested which is sad really.

I haven't had any problems.
Ed

Sometimes I request 3 and get 9 and other times I have some that just get 'stuck' and never seem to get a comment, ever.

Kathy advised wisely. Some sites/posts are simply too frequent and people become tired of them.

I would say it's better to space the comments out. If you ask for 10 comments, all at once, it could be the same people are getting your site to comment on when they offer comments. If they've already left a comment then they won't leave another.
I don't know about spent credits, maybe pm Kyle and ask about it?

Hey Kathy,
shouldn't the comment be separate for each person? Like if I request 3 comments on one page, shouldn't it be sent to 3 people instead of one person to comment on it 3 times?

I ask for one at the time, and get more:)

It doesn't seem to work like that Riaz. If I get the same site coming up over and over again I'll wait till later in the day so I'm shown different ones.

Just ask for one at the time, for different posts:)

Wow Loes, you requested for 3 but received 10 comments, so awesome! Over-delivery for all! Thanks a bunch especially the screenshot, guess I need to even it out :D

Thanks Kathy, I'll even it out.
I have a feeling that the reason being is because they don't really send it to different people. They just give it a certain time frame for anyone who happens to be wanting to offer comments at that time of the day which is why some people get same pages to comment on for a certain period of time.

Yes, and like Loes, I too get more comments than I ask for!

I never requested that many on one post. I request one or two at most and get at least between 5 or 8. Maybe that's the trick?

woww you're so lucky! I used to get over-delivery too on my first 2 requests but after that, I barely get any. I'll request lower :D

I'm trying to build my first woocommerce site selling personalized iphone covers and accessories for a friend, does anyone here have experience building ecommerce sites with Woo

Hey, guys. Great thread, I need guidance as well.

I'm currently making a woo commerce shop on my site with affiliate links. I'm a little bit scared though that all those affiliate links will get my site blacklisted.

Say I have 20-30 products on one page to create the feel of a shop. Will it get my site blacklisted?

Any thoughts on affiliate links with woo commerce concerning SEO?

http://3dprintstoday.com for ref.

google recognizes an ecommerce site. No worries about large volumes of links with this sort of site.

Thanks!

Hi Riaz - I've built a couple using WooCommerce:

http://wordswithlove.com
http://clanclocks.com

I don't think there are any challenges as such - WooCommerce just works - but if you've any questions, please let me know.

Cheers, Mark

Thanks Mark! your site look amazing, especially Clan Clocks. Currently learning how to build my site up, will let you know if I'm stuck :D

Thank you Riaz.

What makes a site like that is really the pictures. The WooCommerce part of it (once it clicked how to do variations on products), was relatively easy.

All the best, Mark

Cool pictures are what makes people buy i guess. I'm learning by watching videos in YouTube currently, do you have any videos to recommend me? Maybe ones you figure out when you first started?

Hi Riaz.

I don't think I watched anything on YT - I just followed the guides on the WooCommerce website, and they were comprehensive enough to let me produce those sites.

Cheers, Mark

Really? I guess I'm abit slow to pick understand technical stuff. Thanks anyway, will drop you a message when I'm building my site soon!

Please show us how you made these sites Mine looks rubbish and about to ditch WooCommerce. Not enough prods per category page - only ten.

Yours have more so hope you don't mind me asking for help.

I maybe will have 1000 prods in the end so may use a shopping cart system for 1 site but WooCommerce for another.

Thanks for showing us these - Andre

Just a quick question, does anyone know how do I track the amount of traffic or clicks I'm getting for each of my blog posts?

I noticed that one of my blog posts managed t

Riaz

Good day I hope this note finds you well.
In order to check where people are landing on your website in Analytics follow this path;
On the left side go to Acquisition>Near the bottom Search Engine Optimization>Landing Pages.

This will tell you where people are 1st hitting your site # of Impressions, Clicks & CTR (Click Through Ratio).
From the same area under Queries you may see what keywords are being used to find your site and the statistics for that.

If you need more help drop me a note, I do hope this helped,

Gary

Hey Gary, wow thanks a lot! I never used this feature, didn't know it was there! I didn't know that I have 330 posts too! That's astonishing :D. And thanks for the Google analytic link, I've done that few months ago but totally forgot haha

Yes, same happened to me when I created my sitemap. I created it again without the www and that fixed the problem My stats now continue from that new sitemap.

but my analytics and webmasters can detect visitors and impressions though. Is that supposed to happen? Sorry i get a little blur at these part

Yes you will, but some of the data may be skewed on the searches for your site. Sites hosted on WA have the www stripped out of the domain name, so when you do a fetch, it gets hung up on the redirect with the www in the sitemap. My numbers have gone up since creating the sitemap without the www. I just left the old one on the GA page. I picked up some of this from Robert as he answered this question for me last week.

Make another account, I'll try that thanks Howard!

I'm sorry I could not get to this question any sooner because I didn't see it but you don't need to delete the accounts. All you have to do is edit the websites address and add it without the www. because the way WA hosts the websites you don't need to add www to it.

omg I didn't know that ! Thanks for that Manny but I deleted my accounts already :/ . Now I'm starting anew with my previous data lost but I will bear that in mind for my other websites. Cheers

I had the same problem, what you probably did was add the wrong site by using http://www,yoursitename.com so what you need to do is submit it without the www and it will fix the problem, however you will need to go to your analytic account and fix it as well.

not really sure how to do that. Do I remove my accounts in Google webmasters and analytics and add them both again?

So if I remove the www, does that mean my link should start with http://myinternetquest.com ? Really sorry I'm abit slow when i comes to technology
