I am trying to add a post to what will be the main page I will post to on my site. However I don't know if it is my theme or what, put I don't see how to do so without replacing

Can you explain categories to me? I basically have 3 pages that I will be adding different kinds of content to. I am sure there is an easy way to get my posts to go to the appropriate pages but I am really stumped as to how. I assume it has to do with categories, but don't understand so can't quite figure it out. Thanks in advance.

You add categories to Posts, say "Review" is one category and you add that to half-a-dozen posts. If you then add a Category item "Reviews" to a menu, Appearance > Menu instead of a page or link, when someone clicks on Reviews on the menu, all the posts will be displayed as a list. Hope this helps! :) Rich.

You can set your home page in Settings > Reading. You can then add blogrolls divided up by categories you add to your Posts by using Appearance > Menu and adding Categories to the menu as well as pages. :) Rich.

You have to make a new page with the content you want to be your "home" page, then in your setup use that as a static page, then every time you enter the webpage it will show that static page
