March Madness - The Sweet Sixteen!
March Madness started with 68 teams last Thursday. After all of the madness and a few upsets and also a No. 1 team going down in defeat, we are at the "Sweet Sixteen."
For those of you who don't know what that means, there are 16 teams left starting today that are playing for the National Championship of College Basketball.
Here they are and who they play today and tomorrow.
Michigan plays Oregon, West Virginia plays Gonzaga, Purdue plays Kansas,
Xavier plays Arizona, These games are today.
Butler plays North Carolina, South Carolina plays Baylor, UCLA plays Kentucky,
Wisconsin plays Florida, These games are Friday.
I still am in it I have my 2 brackets yet with Gonzaga winning one and Arizona the other.
Are you still in it?
Saturday it will be down to 8 teams. Can you tell that I am excited?
How About You?
Bobby

Frankly being an alumnus of UConn I am more interested in the women's tournament!
As for the men with the "one-and-done" mentality of many of these college players who believe incorrectly that they are ready for the pros after their freshman seasons in college, to me having followed the sport for around 45 years now, it's just not the same.
Part of me wants to see UCLA get blown out of the water by Kentucky just to shut up Levar Ball father of the UCLA point guard who he foolishly compares to some of the greatest players in the professional game today when the kid is all of 19-years old.
Right there with you!...Pulling for all 3 SEC teams .. Florida (vs. Wisconsin), S. Carolina (vs. Baylor), and Kentucky (vs. UCLA)...but my dream team and the team which I PREDICT will win it all is GONZAGA!!!
AG,
Gonzaga has never won it before and also Arizona hasn't been to a Final Four. My teams.

Arizona won the title once in the late 1990's beating Kentucky. Mike Bibby and Miles Simon were the two star guards on that team.
