Good Thing For Face Time!
Good thing for Face Time! Do you use Face Time and how is it benefiting you?
Let me tell you how it benefits us.
We have a son and his wife that do volunteer work. They went from Puerto Rico to the Philippines and then Japan. Counting layovers they had 35 travel hours and they are literally on the other side of the world from us. They will be there until the end of this year.
Our daughter and her husband also do volunteer work. They traveled from Puerto Rico to South Africa. Counting their layovers they had 25 hours of travel time. They will be living there for at least 18 months.
Face Time and Skype bring the world very close because you can see them and talk to them at the same time. This is done in just a few fractions of seconds. Isn't that remarkable what modern technology can do?
You can text. email or talk on the telephone also. But those ways of communication are not as good because you can't see expressions of happiness or sadness.
FaceTime is the next best thing to have them with you.
That is why I said, "Good Thing For Face Time!
We don't know what the future holds for our website technology.
Wouldn't it be something to be able to use Face Time or Skype like we use You Tube but,
in Real Time! Face Time!

As I said before Bobby, I have used face time to speak to my husband when I was away on a girly holiday to Tenerife as it didn't cost me anything.
I have used skype to talk to both Chris (Teddy Bear) and also to speak to a good friend of mine Steve1958 who lives in Adelaide.
As you say though, it is nicer to speak to someone face to face. The first time I spoke on skype I was a bit wary as I had never used it before but I am fine now. xxx

After 3 months of communication in 2015, Michael came to visit me in Sept. that year. When he left after 12 days he said we would not see each other for 7 months, that is a long time.I am not so happy with modern technology but in this case, I was thrilled with the possibility of Skyping with him over the weekend. On Saturday like 3 hours and the same on Sundays. During the week we had to do with emailing as the time difference was big, like 8 hours, and he was working.

It's great. My hubby and I often do this even though we both work from home. He in his office and I in mine. So we don't often see each other during the day. It's nice speaking to a loved one face to face!
