How is it working? Can you share successfully to LinkedIn? Does it cost anything?

I am not.

However you may consider sassy social, add to any, grow social or social rocket as alternatives if you are finding it difficult to share to linkedin - normally it doesn't cost anything.

I am using grow social and currently have issues sharing to linked in.

I am again having difficulty sending my articles to LinkedIn by share buttons. Trying different share buttons does not help. The problem is within LinkedIn. Reloading my feed p

Zoopie, can I copy an entire article and then paste it to LinkedIn in the "post" section of LinkedIn?

You can try the URL as well and manually.

From about 6 months ago I had problems using the share app to Linkedin. I now just do the individual copy and paste, takes a bit (microseconds) longer, but I know it has been done...

Thank you, Zoopie!

I use "Addd To Any" because I found it to be the litest and reliable.

Richardgb, does it share to LinkedIn?

Yes. it has a linkedin icon... "In"...

Richard

But does it actually share to LinkedIn? Please test it and let me know. If it does, it will be highly unusual. Thanks?

Since I don't use Linkedin myself I don't know...
However, a little research leads me to believe we'd need to first create a "Company Page" on Linkedin and then set it up for sharing our WordPress posts on...

Richard, I have over 4300 connections to LinkedIn members and routinely share my posts in one way or another. I am afraid that LinkedIn may be disallowing shares directly from Word Press. No share plug in works. The problem seems to be with LinkedIn, not the share buttons. But I am open to suggestions. I wish I had a way to contact LinkedIn.

OK, Richard

Thanks, Richard. I will try to understand that. I am not technically inclined, but it seems to address my issue.

Richard, I have discovered a plug in - WP to LinkedIn automatic publish. This is a very simple solution and I hope it works.

Let us know how it goes....
:-)
Richard

Try Grow Social; I have it.

I just tried it, and it is not loading; you may want to do it manually.

Other plugins include sassy social, add to any or social rocket.

Abie, I have tried other social plug ins. They all do not load to LinkedIn, at least not consistently
I can load by a Facebook mobile share, but this only appears as a LinkedIn link, which is not nearly as good as a normal share from Word Press. I have been able to play around with reloading my feed page in LinkedIn with some success, but not for my last article. Is there any way to contact LinkedIn about this? What do you mean by doing it manually? Constructing it on LinkedIn from the beginning? Thanks for any answers.

I would do it manually till it resolves - it could be an error or a glitch on the social media servers

I am getting long -around 300 words - comments now about twice per week. I can't read the language, but it usually comes from a source that ends in ru. So Russian? The comments

How very annoying, good reply from Kyle.

You will naturally get spam, and you can mark these as spam as you get them to your website. This is natural for all website, as spam detection doesn't always get caught (and we have measures we take on our end to prevent spam).

These will not impact you, just make sure you aren't publishing content like this to your website and you always want to "approve" content before it goes live on your website.

Thanks, Kyle.

You want to delete those.

Thanks to TheAbie. I installed WP Armour plug-in and hope this solves the problem.

You're most welcome :)

I have used Amazon for a couple of years, have made sales but no significant commissions. No, they are not accepting "widgets" any more, which I take to mean links to speci

Gave up trying woth Amazon a long time ago, felt that they were not worth the trouble for such a poor return.

Hi - you can still link to individual products using the Site Stripe bar, as the others have said. That is the way I have always done it anyway. Take a look at this video.

IMHO it is not useful for me as an Affiliate, but I do like their KDP program where I have my books that I have written listed, Richard!

Jeff

Not accepting widgets does not mean that you cannot link to specific products. Amazon has some great ways you can present the product. See Site Stripe (upper left and corner)-when logged in and searching for a specific product. Also you can use "product links ". Whether one makes enough from Amazon is based on how you define that.

Actually, they are still linking to specific products.

I certainly haven’t gotten rich with them (nor do I expect to)! My problem is that there is nowhere else that offers the stuff in my niche.

I would say that if you don’t HAVE to use them, don’t!

Darlene

Maybe I am confused about what a widget is. How do you still link to specific products? There was a huge change as of March 1, 2022. What is your sense of what this change means? Thanks for your help!!

The site stripe feature is still working

I sometimes write ads through WA for social media only. These are generally to create sales for an affiliate, even for Wealthy Affiliate at times.

When doing this, I alw

I hope you find out, Richard!

Jeff

That is a good question! I don't know why that would happen. I would post it on the home page to see what other members say.

Hi April!

How have you been??

Quite well, always know your answers are reliable!

You may have missed setting a no index no follow on the post or page in question or by the time you did or corrected, it already got indexed.

That makes sense, but I wonder how quickly I need to set the no index, no follow. I usually do it within 60 seconds or sooner.

If seconds, it won't be applicable. No it's got to be few hours or days dependent Googles trust in your site.

Check this link

Articles on here cannot be marked in anyway to prevent them being picked up. But you shouldn't be using this area to promote your business in any way.

I'm not. I am speaking of using Word Press and implementing "no index" and no follow.

Not sure I understand what you are doing.
But if you write something here on WA it can and will get indexed

Okay, apparently I caused confusion. I was speaking of using Word Press through the WA platform
