Guest blogging

My thoughts this morning centered around the following: there are many topics that are relevant to my subject matter, but about which I have limited knowledge.

My preference is to post about topics that I know in depth, about products that I have used and about experiences that I have had. I learn by research, but I do better if the research is only to confirm and insert specificity and not to teach me things from the ground up.

My niche is workouts at home. MYWORKOUTATHOME.COM. I am nowhere near exhausting all possible relevant topics. But I know very little about veganism, vegetarianism, yoga, massage (from a practitioner's viewpoint) or supplements. These topics are all relevant, though indirectly.

My knowlege of nutrition is also limited, though I reference this in posts.

Maybe I missed training information on guest blogging, or maybe I have not yet arrived at that part.

My thought is that a win / win situation might be fostered by guest blogging, mutual or otherwise. Maybe I could copy and paste someone's post that would contain their link and we would both benefit. Or I could use their post, preceded by an introduction that I would write.

Or maybe I could take a few passages, use them in quotes and give attribution.

The truth is that I don't know how this might work, but I am sure that it is a viable notion.
