First accomplishment within WA!

Hello all! This is my first blog post here in WA...

First, I'd like to start off by explaining who I am and why I've joined WA to begin with.

Since 2012, I've written and self-published 4 books. Currently, I'm writing 2 others and about 4 are on the back burner. People often ask me what genres I write in; I write in multiple ones! I don't see any limits when it comes to fiction (which is what I most prefer for book writing). I respect so many of them that I could imagine writing in the most widely known genres. I'm not talking myself up, either, I'm just expressing my opinion on the creative world and how amazingly vast it is!

This is how I see music as well. I started composing music at about the same time! I enjoy tons of different styles. I had just turned 17 when I discovered these passions, I gave up my social and love life to pursue these dreams and make them into full-on careers, and I'm still doing them today! Never, could I picture a time in my life that I'd give them up.

In doing all of this, I've generated a bit of name for myself on YouTube as a composer (under no label), and a horror writer on Wattpad. My most known book is a horror series, so that's why I say "horror writer". People mostly know me for my music -- even though I pushed my books out there more in the beginning. Oh well! LOL

Why I joined Wealthy Affiliate...

The reason why I joined WA is because I'm an adventurous person who loves to conquer different skills and talents. This is something I figured out about myself after all these years of perfecting my skills at writing and composing music. Once I learn something, I enjoy shining that light on another person seeking answers on the same topic. Life is short, so you have to make the most out of it. Learn and conquer as much as you can while you're here!

Today's Accomplishment at Wealthy Affiliate!

I purchased the Premium Membership after completing the first phase of bootcamp yesterday, and I just watched the first lesson in phase 2 about how to find your niche, how to narrow it down, why you have to do that, and I learned how to sell within a niche! Before that video, I didn't realize how vital these things are. I had already taken some lessons from another site but they were not willing to provide that kind of information until I would pay an arm and a leg for it. Whatever they taught, it was very sketchy and vague. Yeah... well, I didn't fall for their little scheme. (Insert a bratty tongue-sticky-outy face)

With the things I learned today, and knowing that I still have much to go, I'm very confident, motivated, and excited to make this new business huge and amazing! It was never my intention to just "give this a shot and leave if I don't sell anything within the first or second month". I understand how that works, because again, I'm an independent artist for books and music. I truly am an entrepeneur.

I certainly cannot WAIT to move on to the next step! This is brilliant and like a breath of fresh air. Such a wonderful opportunity! Everything moves at a great pace and is so easy to understand. I'm grateful!

So I say... cheers to success and onto the next lesson/phase!
