Hi all, why am I receiving quite a number of WA emails sent to my spam? Seems that I can't click the link to retrieve the information. Thanks all, Renee

If you look at the WA emails there's usually at least 2 links within the email. Some email platforms consider it spam because of the links in the email. To be able to click the link in the email you must first move it to our inbox. Also you should mark the WA emails as "Not Spam", after a while your email will recognize this and not dump them in the spam folder. Hope that helps.

Thank you Daniel for the explanation. You're awesome;-)

You are very welcome:))

Experienced this many times in the past. Without doing anything it simply went back into normal.

To be able to retrieve and read the information transfer all of them from spam to inbox and all will become readable.

What are you using to read your email? Most programs have a provision to "white list" the addresses or domains of known senders.

In Windows Live Mail, I click on the arrow under the "Junk" button and a list opens up. I can then designate a particular sender's address or that sender's domain as a "safe" address (or I can choose to block emails from that address or the entire domain)..

Hi Bob, I'm using yahoo mail to check incoming mails from WA. Thanks lot

In Yahoo Mail, you should be able to either direct WA emails to your inbox or direct them to a special folder only for WA.

To use a specific folder, first right-click on your inbox in the left column and click on "New Folder". Enter the name for the Folder you want to create. (You can skip this step if you want the WA emails to be put in your inbox.)

To filter the emails, click on the Tools (gear) icon near the upper right corner of the page to open the menu. Click on "Settings" then "Filters".

Click the "Add" button. Name the filter in the top text box. In the box labeled "Sender", select the "contains" option and type wealthyaffiliate.com into the box. (Be sure that the "Match Case" box is NOT checked.)

At the bottom of the page, use the drop-down to select the folder where you want the WA emails to go. Click on the "Save" button and you're done.

Yahoo has more information on filters here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail-for-desktop/filters-yahoo-mail-sln15994.html

Certain Criteria just causes some things to go to Spam that should not. Just like i have received many emails of things I wish would have went to Spam. Again, Good luck with your time on WA!

I have had some of WA go to Spam at first, but then it got to where very few if any did after I clicked not Spam on all the ones that were in my Spam. Hope things work out for you the way you want. Good Luck!

As am a newbie in Internet Marketing, please help me on this. Thank you.

If you want to build free sites here, you won't need a domain external from WA.
If you don't wish to go premium just yet and want to have your own domain, you will need to purchase the domain name and hosting externally.
If you go premium, and have started using the free sites, once you have purchased the domain (Registration is always external to WA) you can host the site here and transfer the siterubix domain to the new site quite easily.

As others have said, you can build 2 free websites plus hosting your own domain (if you choose to do so) is always included in your premium membership. No need to spend the extra $8+ a month elsewhere.

Hope this helps!

-Jimmy

Jimmy, thanks:)

No you don't I used my free sites for two months then switched them all

Thank you Alan, I like your Harley;-)
Can I take a free ride soon?

Thanks and sure when you are in town!

Hi Renee,

A very warmth welcome to WA!

For a start, you may use the 2 free domain name as provided here in WA - look for "Build My Website" buttons on the left colored column! However, if you wish to host your own domain here, you may do so too!

Hope this may help you to have a good headstart and wishing you a great Success here in WA!

~Nic

Many thanks Nic!!

No, you can simply start here with a free website:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/online-entrepreneur-certification-getting-started-level-1/getting-rolling

However, once you have finished the starter course, it is advisable to buy a domain name (around $11/year) as this will be better for ranking and therefore getting traffic, however, this is not essential and you can carry on using the free website if you do so desire

Alright Tallell, noted with much thanks:-)
