When you need to see it to believe
I've always been the type of person who errs on the side of caution rather than taking a risk. As I child I can remember playing board games, and never making any moves that involved risk. I guess I just felt that if I hung onto what I already had, I was in a better position than if I risked what I had in an effort to earn more.
With this in mind, I'd like to share just how difficult it was for me to actually sign up for a premium membership, and then purchase my own domain. I actually lost half a nights sleep over it! Even now, I wish I could feel sure about what I'm doing. I've read lots and lots of positive posts, and received positive feedback to my questions and posts, and still I feel uncertain.
I can say with certainty, that at this point I don't believe a single one of your success stories would lift this cloud of uncertainty for me. I need to see my own success happen, even if it's just a tiny step of success. Right now, your success stories are not translating into personal confidence. I just need to see it myself to believe it.
I'm not a risk taker, and I have a habit of needing to see things for myself, and yet, I'm still here. I'm still working, I'm still walking through the training. I'm taking one step at a time, and doing my best to stay positive!
So if you have a hard time understanding why some of us newbies aren't 100% convinced yet, why we seem cautious and afraid to jump right in, please just have patience. Some of us are just trying to keep it together until we can see it for ourselves!

I can understand your dilemma.
In WA, the results you will get depend entirely on how well you implement what you are taught.
You can use Google Analytics or Google Search to visibly see how your traffic increases as the number of quality articles you post in your website increases.
If you could see that result, would you feel better about investing your time mostly and modest fee in this business?
You have picked the right vehicle to build your business as the risk here is far less than other programs you could have got into. I feel you are on the right track.

Yes, I keep hearing about success being dependent on effort. That's actually one thing that makes me less apprehensive. Nothing in life is free, and anyone who claims it is isn't being 100% truthful. Thanks for the tips and encouragement. I will look. Into ways to see my traffic count!
Believe me, being apprehensive is a common trait. I felt just like you, sometimes I still feel that way but I keep on going. Why? Because the alternative of never having tried is even more scary. Jim
It's good to know that my experience isn't unique. Just out of curiosity, how long have you been with WA?
Take it from an old guy who has the same uncertainty that you have that you are not alone in this journey. I am also a newbie.
Just one big suggestion. No, it's really a Question; What have you done so far within WA?
Celebrate each level of accomplishment, no matter how small it may seem to you.
When life happens and you hit a snag, just hit reset and don't quit. I don't intend to.

It is all about your attitude, persistence, consistency and your goals. But don't focus only on goals. Moreover, focus on doing the daily tasks and steps you need to accomplish to reach your goals.
All you need to learn is here at WA!
