For example, could it be .co.nz or .kiwi.nz or .org?

Interesting question. I just spoke to Go Daddy and they tell me that .com is about to be obsolete. Now they are going to put the keyword as your dot word. For example, if your site is about recipes your web address might be joescooking@yahoo.recipe

Hi OleSkule, thankyou for your response to my question. Very interesting information that you share re .com. I posted the question because I was wondering about WA parameters and whether WA hosting only included .com sites. I have so much to learn. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated!

Hi Reihana, from what I have learned here in the training so far, .com's and .org's are the best.

Thank you for your response. My ideal domain name is not available as .com so I was looking for best alternatives that were acceptable to working within WA. Best regards.

I you're form Australia, .com.au is good. Otherwise .net is the next best choice, star creator says.

Hi Jen, thank you for your response. I'm from NZ, thus the inquiry about .kiwi etc. Yes, I agree that .net is a good option. Thanks.

It shouldn't be .org unless it's charity or other kind of organization. You can use .net and some other ones they have available. If you can get a .com. I would go for the .com.

Great, thanks for your help.

If I start creating a website with rubix will it be easy to transfer content etc when I become a premium member?

Or should I join as premium member first?

Hey Tanya,

Yes you can do this with the click of a button and actually move your SiteRubix.com website to a domain you own.

Here is a video on how to do this.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-transfer-a-siterubix-website-to-your-own-domain

You will need to join Premium before you can do this, but the process only takes a quick second to move the site :)

Carson

Thanks Carson!

You're welcome Tanya!

Yes you can change it to a dot com later or anytime for that matter, just make sure the dot com or the one you want is available. I chose to make sure my domain Downhill Money.com was available before I added my two free sites here.

Hi Rick, thank you for your help. Awesome!

Hi again Rick, does my website have to be dot com? For example could it be .co.nz or .kiwi.nz or .org?

I am currently reading through the tutorial by Veronica, '6 ways to make money..' I require more understanding regarding affiliate programs in the context of monetizing my poten

Hey Tanya,

If you're every looking for training here at WA, pop your question into the search at the top of the page.

For example, search for "Affiliate Programs" and you'll find all kinds of training, blogs, and discussions about affiliate programs.

Affiliate program training comes in course #3 of the Certification courses, so keep on working through the lessons. You should not add affiliate programs to your website until you are ranking, getting traffic, and experiencing real people on your website. Google will take a lot longer to rank you if your site has affiliate links on it too early and before they trust the site.

Here is some training:

Thankyou. Yes, perhaps jumping ahead slightly.
