Just as the title says, I would like to decrease the size of the featured image on my posts, not the blog roll on the front page.
How can I adjust the size of my featured image on posts?
Just as the title says, I would like to decrease the size of the featured image on my posts, not the blog roll on the front page.
I understand how to add an image to the featured image section of a post. I'm looking for how to adjust the size of that image.
Regardless of what size image I use it naturally blows it up. I know it's in the CSS but I can't find it.

On my website it uses a featured image for any posts. The problem I'm having is that if I put in an image for the featured image it is huge. If I don't put an image nothing show
Go to your dashboard click on all post then go to each post edit page that you want the featured image not to be on at the top right corner is a tab called screen options go there and uncheck featuted image.
That just removed the option for the featured image, but on my home page it is still showing a blank picture. That's the one I want to get rid of.
The featured image is very useful because people are more visual now days. Take a look at my site with the images. tomreviews.net
I understand the need for images and I'm always sure to put them into my posts. The problem is that if I use a featured image it blows it up on the actual post page.
Example: http://becausebeer.org/mercury-bells-brewery-3-55
The Beer Picture.
Make them all thumbnail size. Because you can change the size of each one before you save.
That doesn't change the size of the image on the actual post page. I've gone through adjusting the image sizes in both my own editors and on the wordpress dashboard. Is there a way to just remove the featured image from my theme altogether?
Not that I know of unless you go into the css but you better know what you are doing when you mess with the code or you can break your site
I do know a bit of HTML and CSS so I'm comfortable messing with the stuff if you could point me in the direction
Now I think I know what you are asking after looking at your statements. If you are talking about the little image that is next to your comments just like you have a pic of you here. Then you will have to go to WordPress create an account with them and then go to the Gravatar website and create an account there and upload your image there to control this one you can put whatever you want just as long as they ok it. Because when I remove my featured image from my post it just disappears of my blogroll altogether. So I am thinking this is what you need. If not let me know.

I can't seem to figure out how to add a picture to my username on my blog. I'm sure I'm just missing it, anyone know?
You can use a Facebook login plugin to allow your users to sign in and use their fb profile picture.
Thank you for the tip! Do you have any particular plugging that you recommend? or shall I just browse the Plugins page?
Also, does this means that it signs me in with my Facebook and people can see my activity on FB, or it is just to pick up the picture? Shall I assume that on that case it will pick my current FB pic whenever I change it?
Sorry for the storm of questions, your advice is really really appreciated.
All the best
Hisbel
Has anyone found how to do this? If so, could you explain it, please? I really need this feature for my website. Thanks in advance, Hisbel
Ok, I am going to send you 3 files - Step 1, 2, 3 If you still need help after that please let me know?
Hi, I was talking about the picture on the User for the blogs outside WA. I have found out now, you need to create a Gravatar, and after you have done that, provided your User has the same email that you used to create the Gravatar, it should pick it up authomatically. So every time you answer to blogs with that user / email, you can see the picture.

Oh that's easy, do you want me to show you?
Sure, that would be wonderful
