Hi Lorinda, there are few ways to go about writing for a fashion blog.
1 - What style/clothes to wear for events/season, how to match them and such.
2 - What's the quality of the material like for that particular clothing that you are recommending.
3 - Highlight the merchant's shopping experience like free shipping, coupons and special collections.
4 - Help people solve their 'fashion problems' through your niche keyword research.
Publish some of these topics on your blog first before you move onto adding text/banner links. That way, you'll be more focus on creating the content vs the commissions.

Hey Lorinda, I might be able to help you out here. What are the domains that you have bought? You could already have a niche, but just didn't explore it deep enough.
Also, have you done any keyword research in the past? That is actually key to get engagement on a website. Get in touch with me and we'll discuss about it, okay :)

If you're just starting out you want to keep your purse well and truly shut.
Do NOT Pay for anything coz chances are in your ignorance there is no need to spend money on something you can get for free.
You will surely fall foul of scammers and conmen (and women).
You must have something you are good at that's not work related.
perhaps its something you used to do before full-time work and family took you away from it.
It could also be something you have a lot of knowledge of but don't believe you would make a lot of money from.
