When I write, I tend to look around the room I'm in and then I think of something to write. But, It's never that easy. Ready to learn about something you can do to keep writing? Let's go!

Writers block, it's happens to anyone and everyone. I even have that during the time I want to write on my books. During the day when I work on my site, my mind is filled with so much I could write, and then some days it's more like meh, I can't think of what to write. What I have heard about this, there are many ideas to overcome this problem. Here is what I like to do.

1. Take a walk. Yes you read that right! Taking a walk either outside or around your house is very helpful, by walking you can get ideas as in your outside and you see a bird and you have a niche about birds, you could write about the bird you saw.

    2. Listen to music. I love to put music on when I write. (On my site or something else) Music helps you think, it gives you idea about things you could write about. My mom has said that classical music helps you focus more on what to write about. It helped me when I was doing my school in our living room when I was younger.

    3. Write whatever comes into your head. When I am stuck on something I will open a blank Google doc and just start typing away about anything, from something that's going on in my life too something I want to remember.

    4. Use writing prompts. I use those so much when my mind is blank at the time. All you do is look some up on either google or even from pinterest.

    5. Read something. It can be a book that you have wanted to read but just haven't had the time. Or it can be a site that you have wanted to look at for quite some time. (I tend to go for one of my mom's sites)

    6. Don't try to compare your work to other writers. Each writer is different. Some write about birds, some write about books, we are all different when it comes to writing. I mean yeah if you know someone..let me say. Someone who knows tea and loves tea just like me, I might try to bounce off ideas to them and they could help me by doing the same to me. We all can help each other out if we work together.

The last thing you could try is this.

    7. Don't worry about little things! I tend to do this too often as well, I could worry about the weather or even about something else. But, I have a site to run! Even with something stressful going on around you. It can be a sibling that is stressing over small things. Or it can be someone who is trying to talk to you when your working. Don't worry about that at all, try to focus on writing and stick to it.

Do these tips help you? I would love to hear what you think of this. Thanks for reading. Have a great rest of your day.

Writing is definitely a journey, writers block can have a lead in and outflow. Some excellent tips, Rebekah.

Thank you very much, Alex. I hope these were helpful to you. Have a great day.

    Good advice, Rebekah.

Thanks! I am glad you liked it

This is really a great post!! And you have so many good points.Where I have become confused is being "urged" to have people critique my books. Well, they had, in my opinion, no creativity, and I actually changed some of my books and don't like them as much. I am going back in and sticking with what '" I want to say and write" not a person who actually could care less and is critiquing for "points" that get them up the ladder.

I do also find myself never being able to "shut off my mind" Clutter. I will take some of your points to heart and implement them into my own life. Thank you Rebekah for a fantastic post that I needed to hear this today. Have a terrific day, and keep up the great posts!! :) We rock at WA!!
