Published my review- finally- thanks everyone!
WA Review 2018, in the books!
Or shall I say published and live online!! WOOT. This one took me awhile, but I revised several times and then I get this brilliant idea: get testimonials!! What better way to show people that our community here at WA is unlike any other around than to show them how much REAL members love being a member of WA!
So I made a blog and asked if anyone would like to provide a testimonial. Unfortunately, that did not get me a very good response. Other than learning where the website feedback and site comments were and what that was all about. The site feedback- its feedback on your website- so you go to the site feedback page and after you "pay it forward" you can then submit your website for review- and get feedback. (Definetely was not ready for that yet!) Site comments- is actually comments anyone can make on your website "posts". Creating it as a "post" instead of a "page" allows for comments- but this was not helpful as I had not published my review yet. Basically, my blog post left me with little to no idea how to get these testimonials from REAL members.....so....
I needed a different strategy!
So I thought- "What would get my attention, if someone was looking for help from me?"
Only #1 thing- is a sure-fire way I will respond, may not be immediately but I will read all private messages and eventually respond! I have always responded to personal requests. Any mail or messages I get here at WA I try to at least "like" the comment (the message on your profile get a little overwhelming sometimes- when you upgrade or first become a member you can feel bombarded by greetings- at least I did)! So I thought: "Maybe if I approach some people individually through private message I would get a better response!"
So that is exactly what I did and here's the awesome part: I sent a total of 9 private message, 2 have not responded, 1 politely declined, and 6 provided me the most perfect testimonials! Exactly what I was looking for! I completely understand we are all busy, and those who have not responded quiet possibly have not even logged in yet to see their message- so I totally get it believe me! I figured there would be a few that didnt get back to me before I posted my review online, and if they do respond I can always add it in! I was excited to get it published finally!
Seriously, Thank you guys!!
I appreciate each and everyone of you that responded. I completely understand the reasoning behind the one who declined! Totally understand! And ABOVE all I just appreciate the response, the fact that each and everyone of these people had limited contact with me (Still newbie- in my first month)- but yet they were still so willing to help!!

As for me:
On to phase 2 of the training!! Hoping to add some graphics to my website and focus on my content! I know I can ramble a bit, so I need this training to develop my writing skills and be a success online! On top of all this excitment, my two oldest start 7th and 6th grade Thursday!! School starting back, woot!! They been getting a bit testy here towards the end--- time for them to get back to the grind too! Should be an interesting rest of the month, to say the least!
