im having issues with copy paste from word to the body of the blog, it shows up for a split second and then disappears
Not sure whats happening , I just tried and was able to copy from a Word document into a WA blog. Maybe just a temporary glitch on your part. might be a re boot will fix it.
Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. I assume you are using WordPress to create your blog. Yes, you can copy and paste from Word to your WordPress blog.
If you are using WordPress version 3.9, it now allows you to copy and paste directly from Word to your your WordPress visual editor window. This upgrade was meant to address the issues caused by code from Word which caused unwanted changes to documents when they are pasted in earlier WordPress versions.
If you are using a WordPress version earlier than 3.9, then the recommended way to copy and paste from Word to your blog is to click the "Paste from Word" icon on the extended visual editor toolbar, and paste the document from Word into the pop-up window, then click the "Insert" button.
Please let me know if this helps.
Best regards,
Roger

When I copy and paste from word to WP, my document becomes distorted. Double space, No caps, then it takes me forever trying to get the correct layout. Does someone have the magic answer?
Typically, if you are copying from a MS Word document, you are also coping all of it's hidden code. It is best to either copy plain text or paste plain text.
