You're Either Good At Making Money OR Excuses. Never both!

I was reading a blog post today and I found this saying:-

"You're either good at making money, or you're good at making excuses"

And that really resonated with me and pushed me to write this blog post. It really made sense to me, what the message was trying to say.

It means that if you don't stop with your excuses, that you're just not suited to becoming an online success. It means that you're not suited to running any kind of business from home. It means that you're not willing to go out of your comfort zone to reach your goals.

It means, that you simply don't want success bad enough.

And sadly, it means that all you'll ever be good at, is being an employee. It shows you're actually very comfortable working for you boss at your day-job, you're fine with the rush-hour traffic, you're fine with only 2 - 3 weeks vacation a year.

Because you cannot make excuses AND make money at the same time. Every ethical and honest marketer (or other business owner) will tell you, that it takes time and it takes effort to create a successful and profitable business, be it online or offline.

That's why you've got to change your mindset. You've got to change your attitude. You've got to change your thinking.

Firstly, ask yourself: HOW BAD DO I WANT TO CHANGE MY SITUATION AROUND?

If it's bad enough, you'll treat this business like it should be treated; a real business. If you're here just to try things out, write 1 post a month, skip ahead of the training and you expect to achieve results, you're going to be deeply disappointed.

If you want that freedom so much, both financially and time-wise, then you gotta work for it. That's why it's called a dream, because it's something that we don't have but want to make a reality. That's why we have to fight for our dreams.

Who' gonna do that for us, if not ourselves? Who's gonna come knocking at our door every month, with a check for $5K? Who's gonna plant a "money-tree" in our backyard where we can pluck money from everyday?

NOBODY!

Unless you give yourself a year or two, really give this business a try and stop wasting time, you won't see the results you want.

So let's throw excuses out the window and treat this like a business. Write an everyday schedule. Make your other tasks revolve around your business as much as possible. Make this business your priority starting today!

The Affiliate Marketing business is too lucrative for you to pass up on this opportunity. More and more people are leaning about this method of making money online and things are just going to get tougher from now on (because of rise in competition).

You'll still make money, but it's gradually going to take you longer to see the results you want, just like it's taking us longer to see results now, compared to 5 years ago.

Wherever you are in the world, I hope that your day was/will be productive! Everyday is a new opportunity to take a step forward in our business. Don't let the day pass you by!

Great advice! Thanks for sharing, Reyhana.

Anytime, Regina.. :)

You are right, Reyhana. We have to take our business seriously.

Thanks for reading, Fran.. :)

I totally agree with you 100% we all should just invest in our lives which takes work to get to our dreams. Some like you said are made out to just be comfortable working for someone else which is fine if that is what you want to do.

I know me for a fact since I have been at my current J.O.B for a little over 3 years. Getting up at 3am gone by 330 home by 6pm I don't want to do that for the rest of my life.

So I may be sacrificing sleep abotu 4-5 hours a night just so I can work on my business. We all have our motivations and I thank you for this post.

I hope all is well,

Matt

Thanks for reading, Matthew.

Absolutely. There's nothing wrong with being comfortable with working the 9-5, but if we're on a platform like WA, then we clearly want to change SOMETHING!

And that SOMETHING is not going to change if we procrastinate or if we keep making excuses.

Oh wow! That's hard!!! I really hope for your sake, that your business starts earning soon so you can ease up on those crazy hours.

And you're the perfect role model: even though you have such crazy work hours, you still manage to find time to work on your business. This is what I'm talking about!!! :D Hat off to you!

Everybody has their own motivations that's for sure, but we lose focus of our goals after a while. We have to remind ourselves THE WHY, the REASONS we are here for.

Hits the nail right on the head. Wake up call for some and a reminder to those who always push forward.
Even my wife lately makes me feel like Jerry Mcguire "show me the money" lol. Stay the course everyone.

Definitely, Narong. I'm glad my post resonated with you too.

Haha! That's funny! Sometimes even I ask myself that, but I know it will come after some time. I just need to stick to my daily schedule. :)

Thank you so much Reyhana, it does resonate with me too. We have take this opportunity seriously before it's too late.

I'm glad that you like my post, Ahmed.

Well, it's never too late to start your online business, but because of rise in competition, it's just going to get harder and will take longer for you to see results.

That's why we have to take advantage of each and everyday, to do some work and advance our business, even if it's in the smallest way.

Some progress is better than none...

Thanks for sharing it with Reyhana, great advice! I like the idea of writing everyday schedule!

Thanks for reading, Alona. Yes, it's best to write everyday, no matter what niche you're in, whether it's competitive or not. :)

Good thought, excuses, excuses. Excuse is not gonna put food on someone's table, it only cause you to be lazing. These issue of been an employee has be a burden to me for some yrs now. Seeing my self everyday leveraging my talent for other people profitability, I'm not happy about it.

I thank God I had found WA to leverage those talent and become self employed. But my prayer is for me to succeed like other here in WA so I can share gradually my past working experience of not working for anybody.
Thanks for sharing, it was a good piece.

Regards

Hello Omosomi.

I know! I used to work for my boss, went to having a retail store, closed it and had to go back to working the day-job and I hate every minute of it!

To me, although it's bringing in an income, it's a waste of my talent and I know I can accomplish much more! The job is not as interesting as my work on my website.

Working for my boss where my talents are used for their own profits does not sit well with me either. I'm also happy that we both found WA and that we are learning about our own capabilities.

Gone are the days where we have to grind and make our bosses rich!

Thanks for reading and I wish you all the best!

Very true, thank you for sharing Reyhana.

Anytime, Eden...

Great points! Loved reading this.

Thanks for reading, Montana. I'm glad you enjoyed reading my post... :)

Thank you for sharing.

You're welcome, Emmanuel.. :)
