Hey Robert, this is something that I am not too familiar myself but found some pretty interesting information around the net:

https://yalantis.com/blog/how-do-you-develop-an-innovative-flight-search-and-hotel-booking-app-a-complete-guide/
https://www.apptha.com/blog/how-online-booking-system-works-how-to-start-an-expedia-kayak-like-rental-site/
And a somewhat similar question on Quora that might be helpful:

Thanks Jason. You had better luck than I did. I will have a good luck at all of that. I appreciate the help
No problem. I know for a fact that you do not have to manually input information for the products individually. Just not 100% how.

When monetizing your niche site do you tend to use Affiliate Programs, or Affiliate Networks? Or do you use both?
What are the reasons for your preference?
I mostly use WA and Amazon Associates. I signed up for another affiliate network but have not done anything with it at all. I'm also an affiliate for some individual programs.
Sue
Thanks Sue. I think both networks and individual programs have their place but programs may let you be more specific about who or what you want to promote.
I use Amazon Associates and Wealthy Affiliate. Amazon has everything, any site can refer others to WA. I tried Clickbank a little bit but decided to stick with Amazon for convenience.
