In order not to be seen as a bridge page, your content needs to be much more robust than the real estate (size) taken up by ads. I kind of use a 3 to 1 ration, 3 column inches (I'm an ex-newspaper guy) of content to 1 column inch of advertising. That's just my opinion.

What is the proper way to use advertisers banners?

Hi Robert, honestly, my experience has shown me that banner ads generally do not sell as a well as a review page sells them with affiliate links, but there are options.
My main thing is to put ads as widgets on your site, so they do not get int the way of the reader, reading the content you write, but it's on the side. Here is a tutorial on widgets and putting up banners, essentially, you would just have to put in a code or banner image into the widget area of your site and put in the affiliate link on it so when people click on the banner, they'd go to your affiliate link: Adding a WA Banner to a Wordpress Sidebar Widget Note: In this case, the example is a WA banner, but you would just do the same thing, but use your own special banner.

I have a Word Press plug in installed that should place logos on my pages and posts. How do I update my pages to show the logo?
Did you activate the plugin after you downloaded it?
1, Check your plugin list and make sure it is activated.
2. Go to its settings from the left menu in wp admin and select the button options you want to show on your site and where you want it to display it: top, bottom, vertical.
You don't say which plugin you used, so it is difficult to be more specific.
Some social media plugins are not compatible with some themes.

I got rid of the plug in I had activated and used Tweet, Like, Google+, and Share. Now there is one strange problem. Facebook doesn't show. What could be wrong?
Yes, that's so, because Facebook no longer supports the Share button and it has to be done with code.
It says so on the Plugin page, with links on what to do instead when you scroll down the page:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/only-tweet-like-share-and-google-1/
See SCREENSHOT ~Jude.
Site support just recommended I use another plug in! I guess things change. I asked them for a recommendation and I'm waiting for a response. Thank you so much. I now follow you. I will let you know the outcome.
I don't think they usually like to recommend plugins. As you say, let us know what they say. ~Jude
I installed Ultimate Social Media Plugin recommended by site support. The problem for me was the fact that it's advanced and I didn't know you to place the short codes into the editor. Site support did it for me and now I have all the logos. Thanks Jude.
For future reference, a short code is inside square brackets and you add it to your content in the editor window.
The editor tab must be in Visual Mode (not in Text mode). You then insert (type or copy/paste] the code where you want it to appear on your site.
For example: it would look something like this:
[twitter_counter_retweets]
You cannot see the relavent text or image until you preview or publish the content. ~Jude
The details are overwhelming. How can a person remember this if they don't use it on a regular basis? Thank you Jude.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Once you understand it, you won't forget it.
A shortcode is just a piece of text in brackets that allows you to add objects into WP without writing actual code. ~Jude
Different plugins have their own activation options. If yours is too complicated to use, try the one I use: "Tweet, Like, Google+ And Share", once you activate it, it should start showing social media buttons on all your pages and posts.
Thank you. I watched Kyle's video and followed the directions. I deleted the plug in I had previously tried and put in the Tweet Like. One strange problem. Facebook didn't show up. What could be wrong?
Site support just recommended I use another plug in. I'm waiting for a recommendation on the name of a plug in. Let you know.
Site support recommended Ultimate Social Media Plugin. Problematic! It does not show up under settings. It has it's own logo under the settings button. I was asked many questions and I did my best. They were not easy questions for a newbie and I understand why Kyle suggests Tweet, Like. Tweet, Like did not show all of the logos. Thank you. Continue tomorrow.
Site support to the rescue. Ultimate Social Media Plugin is advanced and I did not know how to place the short codes into the WP editor. Support did it for me and now I have all the logos on every page/post. Now I can move on! Thanx Vitaliy.

I downloaded a social engagement plug in from Word Press. How do I activate this and get these logos on my site?
Visit your plugins page on your dashboard Robert, then click the box next to the plugin you installed and click "activate". This should fix things up, let me know if it doesn't.
I'm still missing something. I apparently do have them activated because now my choices are deactivate or edit. How do I use this plug in to insert the logos on my site? Thank you.
Have you looked at Wordpress.org ? Then search for the plugin. A lot of the times they have documentation on plugins there.
Sorry, I couldn't be more helpful. Haven't used that plugin.

You must use the linking tool... Highlight the text you want to use as a link, then click the chain link icon in the editor and THEN paste in your link from Amazon, save, and you're good to go.
Thank you so much. You don't know how I anguished over this. I have made double work for myself by choosing a spot of my liking for the link, rather than high lighting a word. I needed to high light the black link and then paste it again. Everything is fine now thanks to you. I went back and corrected older posts as well. Your are an angel!

Always better to do this when fresh :)
