Six Weeks

I did not look to find out exactly when I started in WA. I guess about six weeks ago. I built a web site www.collectiblegemstones.com and I own the domain. My own creation with the help of the training and the great community within this program. I'm happy with the photos I could find and the overall look of my site. Of course it needs improvement, but I'm pleased with my accomplishment. I am confident that after 90 days it will be everything I want and up and running with some traffic. The Holidays are coming and I want to be open for Black Friday. 20 years in retail makes you think like that. Jewelry and watches sell best over the Holidays and hopefully gemstones will see some action.

My financial goals at this time are modest. Remember that in my case I'm searching for additional income initially. I'm hoping that with work and perseverance over the next six months that I will have peace of mind knowing that my business will be a great asset to me. Thank you WA!

Thank you sir, for sharing nice and inspire message. I love to learn form you.

Chantaburi is where I really should be. Not Ecuador. But hey, we can do this from any where with an internet connection.

Wow, you amaze me, you've been to all over Thailand, I guess.Thank you sir, you really did give me a CONFIRMATION, you are in Ecuador, working online. We can do from anywhere in this planet. I came to WA due to I love learning especially now online marketing which I aim to generate income out of it after retirement, my physical strengthens is decline but knowledge and experiences still, online entrepreneurship is best fit for my situation. and I love to connect with people that main reason I came here. this is my first week so I feel this is the right field for me. But I need to learn, taking course to build up my foundation, I know there is no short cut to success. It's so nice to connect with you.

I think this is a good platform. It is not terribly expensive and we are never left without help. I am also new to associate marketing and learning how to do this. You are in a good place. I do not have the capital to invest in jewelry inventory and at my age (70) it would be too risky. Once you have the inventory you need a market. However, turnover of inventory is critical. I would rather have multiple small commissions without large investment and we can do this on line. Do the courses and you will be surprised what you learn. Start working. Best wishes. Robert

Thank you so much sir, for your suggestion, l love it and will take into practice. I'm learning many new things this first week.

Not sure if you have ever been to Sedona or to the Tucson gem show. I spent a day in Sedona exploring the incredible shops with some of the most beautiful gems and stones you can possibly imagine.

I have always wanted to go to the Tucson gem show but for some reason my timing never lined up to make it work. I will check out your site because I absolutely love gem stones.

I am not much for collecting belongings but I must admit, I have quite a few pendants with different stones. I think rose quartz is probably my fav.

I wish the the best of luck!

Well; I need to take some time replying to this comment. I really like your writing skills. You fascinate me. Sedona, Arizona. If you have ever listened to George Nori on Coast to Coast AM you are probably aware of some of the strange things that are visible in the night skies of Sedona. Check it out. I have been to shows in NYC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. East coast. I too have read about and always wanted to go to Tucson. It is the largest and most important show in the US. In those days I was caring for an aged mother with Alzheimer. I was an only child. Nobody else could do it and I owed her. In my case it would have been a combination of work and pleasure to go to Tucson. I really didn't have the money nor the time to attend. Truth be told: I also didn't have a good market to sell my finished stones. So why spend more thousands of dollars on rough and travel? Not collecting belongings. I had my Zen experience when I decided to get out of the rat race and move to Ecuador. It was a gut wrenching but spiritual experience. I had to part with family heirlooms from two previous generations. My daughter took what she wanted. Most went to auction and was sold for an amount far below my expectations. I sold the house I grew up in. Had yard sales for more things I had put in to storage. Loose, loose, loose. Poor me! But......When I flew out of JFK to come to Ecuador I never felt so free in my life! Even though I'm comfortable here after 3 years I still miss certain "things" that have sentimental value. But it's all in my heart; and after all; we can't take it with us. I know that you are the kind of person that understands this and that is why I deviated from business talk to personal talk. Blessings.

Blessings to you as well! I finally made it to Tucson this Spring. Drove from Iowa to Pueblo Colorado (which I loved), then went and spent a few days in Taos, New Mexico (I liked the vibe but my girls found it boring other than the mineral water spa so it was nice but the girls were bored so I didn't have as much fun there) then we hit Tucson and I absolutely loved it. My husband's cousin who is the owner of the Strange Family Circus lives there so of course he and his girls entertained my girls so I could relax.

Unfortunately my timing was off and the gem show had already taken place. I am hoping to go with my 16-year-old son. He has recently taken up jewelry making after being inspired by a retired veteran who makes it in Arizona (we met him years ago and he taught my kids the craft but only my boy Cedar stuck with it). I think he would absolutely LOVE the gem show and if things aren't too pricey I might be able to get him some supplies.

I will have to stay in touch because I may start a niche site for Cedar's jewelry if he keeps up with it. Your move to Ecuador sounds exhilarating and very freeing! We moved our whole family (with only a back pack and a trunk each) from British Columbia to Iowa in 2013. It was a huge step. Our plan was to finally be able to afford an acreage which took us until August of this year. Not as big of a move and extended family could still visit (though none have).

Sorry for the long winded post! I hope your day is blessed!
