About Rchris48
Joined January 2019
I was born in Germany on July 9, 1948. I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Texas in 1981. I have awesome customer service skills and always looking for a way to use those skills. I have worked with the elderly, mentally-challenged adults and I am a former Foster Care Provider. I also was in a foster home at the age of 15-17 years old. The State emancipated me as an adult at 17 years old. I held three part-time jobs during high school and then went to Essex College of Business in NJ.
When my father passed away in 1980, I was curious about where he was born and decided to take a trip to Texas to see. I loved it! The following year I located here to Texas and even thought I moved twice from here, I came back!
So now Texas is my home and I have been very happy here.

I want to start my own online business since I just retired this past month (December 2018), but I also want to return to driving the big rig:)

I am very active and always looking to better my life. This is a new start for me, although I tried once before with SFI and stayed a year without seeing any real progress, so I decided to come here and see if I can unveil my talents here, since most of my life I have held management and supervisory positions, plus customer support titles with various 500 Fortune companies.

Let's see what happens?

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Rosa,
Follow the lessons one by one and do not skip around
before you know it you are going to have a website
that you are going to be very proud of :)

It may look like I'm skipping, but I'm not. I leave the page to interact or make comments, or welcome people and when I come back, I'm not in the same place. It wants me to start all over again, even though I've completed the lesson entirely.

For instance, I am on Lesson 8 right now, and when I leave here, I will have to put check marks and hit next lesson to get to where I left off at. Is there a solution to this?

I've already set up my website, went through the updates on the plug ins, given myself a domain name, etc. The only thing I need to do now is go to my website home page settings and update home title and keywords, plus go to the Site content (under the website) and do the "About Me Post" and the Privacy Policy.

I'm getting ready to do that now:)

Rosa,
I never heard of the site doing that before, but no worries
looks like you are moving along nicely - I did not tell you
that for any other reason than to keep you from getting
confused LOL - it is a habit I have to keep some of the
younger members from straying they love jumping ahead
thinking they are going to make money faster.

If you run into any trouble leave a message on my profile
I will be more than happy to help you with it.

Thank you Jill. I'm sorry to hear about your husband's brain disease. I am so happy though that with all of that you extended yourself to me. That means a lot!
